26. Script is a little off.

Why are they so awkward afterwards. HM especially looked really uncomfortable. Uhm they’re a married couple, done and did. I would expect HM to be exhilarated, try to cuddle up more, use every opportunity to draw her closer.

Asking in car how her studio is doing? Huh?

She knew all along about him trying to win favor with Baraikin. Thus the cosplay episode. Wasn’t that his ask of pretending to be a loving couple?

Acting too was subpar. Wish they could redo this episode.

Does anyone know how ratings work here? Glad it hasn’t gone down but surely it should move up if not a notch. It’s been consistently viewed with steady ratings and rising viewers. 🧐

Was a bit miffed about that but I bet it’s purposeful to whet our curiosity of next episode.

My slight disappointment is teeny wheeny bc I have confidence in the show thus far. True we have our nit picks but to me, it’s the overall sha bang and it’s banging all right.

25. As a great supporter of the story, I admit I’m disappointed for the first time. The love/reconciliation arc is getting too stretched. It’s been balanced enough I felt as the cute moments of ShaoMing doing things showing his love for his wife. That’s him groveling. We haven’t seen XuYan show anything more except xiexie. Yes subtle moments of tenderness (car mopping) but I’m wanting more now. I felt for HM badly in this ep. Reverse slap of what her parents did to her. Man I felt bad. (His acting (WC) could have been more powerful bc that was pivotal but yeah. Disappointed in XY. BUT, directing is great. I’m positive it leads to greater quality so no panic everyone. This wait is a killer though.

25. Success in Yan Studio. Now I’m wondering if this is Lusi’s inspiration used in drama bc she actually did bring focus to cultural heritage, especially the crafts of people in remote villages after her illness recovery. Or she followed through from drama concepts. Either way, the Chinese heritage wins big from this drama so yeah, I expect more soaring in popularity.

Spoil. Do not waste your time. I feel bad for cast but I guess at least they got a paycheck.

Rewatching the part where he fell asleep onto her shoulder. You know if you know how those moments are embedded deep. Loved that part where slowly two people are building momentum of where they stand for each other. I love this gradual build up. Well done, director.

Sometimes I just want her to take her husband’s help. Get her point though. The exhilaration of success at anything, small or big, out of your own effort, is the best feeling.

Another good episode. Some details I felt were retrospective to Lusi’s own life. When dealing with online bad reviews, she insists on replying with honesty and kindness, but for unfounded, to get back with the threat of legal action. It’s how she’s been dealing with the online bullying.

Curious if this is your first cdrama romcom. Believe me when I say this is a very decent directed script as compared to many others floating around. I mean the cheating, narcissism, is mind boggling. You’d probably hyperventilate. This is very very decent.
