The vibe was definitely there. I described it. Not in the way you’re thinking of typical romance genres. This isn’t romance tagged. The vibe of understanding, support, caring, is the best we get from non-rom, and it aligned perfectly to the story in whole.

You’re absolutely right. Though we all watch with different lenses, we each understand or receive differently. Absolutely the leads had a beautiful relationship. Understanding each other, laughing lots, support, naturally drawn to each other, etc. No kiss, holding hands, BUT drawing him into her sweater hugging him is a minister of love and care much more effective than boring kisses. Their relationship was better portrayed in a non romance genre so I just think it very well done. (I have a nagging feeling the kiss(s) would have been a whole other issue of no chemistry, blah blah). SO, perfectly done, entire production a gem.

Wholeheartedly agree with you. He is phenomenal in this role which can’t have been easy to do. That was a lot of work and hats down did a great job.

For romantics who were disappointed that the lead’s relationship didn’t curl your toes or gotten to a place where you pined and cooed. Mianhe 😔my take though. It’s not a rom-com. It’s a slice of life where both leads weren’t really looking for romance. They had so much issues and struggles in their individual lives and just needed someone to listen and care enough to hear and understand. Once they solidified they liked each other, they found joy in each other’s company. She found laughter in his outrageous endless stories, but also saw herself in him, lonely and miserable behind the facade. In each other they can freely express. I don’t know about any of you who feels unclear of their relationship. If a woman you barely got to know can put you inside her sweater and hold you close to her bosom, I don’t know what other evidence there is. The rest is to the imagination as barely, if any story takes you more than that. A great successful relationship starts with a strong beautiful friendship. That they had. Best couple ever!

Go back and watch. You’ll have a better appreciation than others telling you what they think. Yes it’s my opinion but I’m almost sure you will love and respect it.

Koo Kyo Hwan, for best actor in whatever awards show they have coming up. Do you know how many times I had to go up to details to get his name right? Yes, I had not heard or seen him before but he became the most honest no filter adorable character I will not soon forget and of course the actor that he is who made it possible deserves the credit and recognition. Long after the curtain’s closing, I will remember the things he taught me. Foremost, to be authentically me, to apologize when I realize I was wrong, and all others….watch and find out.

I was afraid of whether they would be able to wrap this up in last episode. In my opinion they absolutely did. From writing to acting, this entire drama is a masterpiece of its own. Just wow. TIL next drama, let’s meet up again. 🫶🏽

You're gonna love it even more as you progress. Do take your time, I came on when it was 9 episodes so I thoroughly enjoyed it.
