Not at all, very thorough and thoughtful response. Thank you. Yes, I understand your thoughts of the FL. As a male viewer and possibly speaking for most male viewers, I very much liked the FL and her character, to the point of wanting to watch more shows with her as a FL. Just like female viewers look for a traditional ML with strength, courage, confidence, competence, intelligence, integrity, intensity and attractiveness, male viewers also prefer the traditional characteristics of a female character with behavior and personality traits such as nurturance, sensitivity, sweetness, supportiveness, gentleness, warmth, passivity, cooperativeness, expressiveness, modesty, humility, empathy, affection, tenderness, and being emotional, kind, helpful, devoted, and understanding. I assume some female viewers might get annoyed by these traits, maybe out of jealousy or modern views of femininity and feminism, just as some men might not like the ML for the same reasons. But that's highly unlikely because men look up to and strive for these qualities in your typical, traditional ML characters. I love Cdramas and Kdramas, and I guess most Asian drama as it shows more cultural and traditional settings and characters.

Angst is fine, i mean i gave Ashes of Love a 10, so i think I'm ok. A couple of questions, when do they develop feelings for each other? And when do they agree to be together?

Wow, an 8.9. I've come back to check on the rating because I haven't watched it yet, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Is it really that good? How's the romance and chemistry? Are there any love triangles and misunderstandings? I'm really looking forward to this with that rating. I hope the romance is fantastic.

I've watched season 1. It was ok, but not enough romance for me. I like medical dramas, but not if the medical part takes up most of the drama. To name a few medical dramas i liked are Doctors, Doctor Stranger, Doctor John.

None of these mentions romance. I guess there's not much of it to make an impression. I probably won't watch it if that's the case.

Yes, i remember that. I couldn't decide who i wanted him to end up with. Both were beautiful and fantastic. Joy of Life is another one. But yeah, there's not that many.

You're right, it's very rare. I do hope to come across some more dramas with a good SFL. Refresh Man is one i remember with a good SFL.

Does the FL make it worse, though? Usually these drawn-out love triangles can be ended early if only the FL would make it clear and persist if necessary to put a stop to it, especially if it affects her relationship with the ML. We often see FL's constantly spending unnecessary time with the SML and sometimes naively leading him on. Does this happen here?

Very good drama. I love it how he has a secret identity as a masked vigilante. As usual, the FL is infatuated with the masked hero while at the same time disliking his alternate identity as a pirate. Usually, i love the moments the FL's discovers the truth with these superhero secret identity shows, but this time, it was a little anticlimactic. I would've preferred the FL to be a little more affectionate towards the ML. She often pushes him away when he tries to hug her or kiss her. We only see her attempting to be proactive when there's another female character showing some interest in the ML, and luckily, there was a female character that liked the ML, but that was towards the end. Because for most of the drama, it was mainly the ML suffering from jealousy because there was always the SML around her. It's funny how it's ok for her to spend time with the SML, but as soon as the ML receives some attention from the SFL, the FL doesn't approve and even treats him poorly as a result. Instead, when the FL was often spending time with the SML, the ML was extra nice to her to try and win her attention. In conclusion it was very good, i just needed more affection from the FL.

What a great drama. Why it has such low rating i wouldn't know.

Wow, so much hate to the ML because he rejects the FL. So it's ok and normal for a woman to reject a man, but when a man rejects a woman it's suddenly toxic😒 let's not forget the ML has trauma, it's affected his relationship with the opposite sex. He has feelings and loves the FL, but his trauma is holding him back. At least we see him overcoming this. I guarantee that if the roles were reversed, the word toxic wouldn't be thrown around so easily.

So his best friend now likes the same woman because he donated his kidney to him. Does that mean some of his feelings are embedded in the cells, therefore his feelings are transferred to his friend?
