I have not watched it yet, but I hope there is romance because it will enhance the point of the plot and even title. I just want to watch a LJW drama with him being involved, directly or indirectly, in a future romance with a character. Just my opinion.
I was really hyped for this drama, especially with leads who are absolute masters of romance, but instead it’s all slice of life, friendship, law, and food. It feels like a huge waste of their talent. These actors thrive in romance, and the show barely gives them a chance to shine. It’s frustrating to see such potential completely underused. I might skim a few episodes, but I’ll probably drop it. Really disappointing.
I’ve just started this drama, but reading all the comments with words like slow burn, slice of life, and very little romance has me a bit concerned. Still, I’m curious to see how it plays out.
I'm about to remove this from my watchlist, but I saw comments saying they like it, so I'm glad that I gave it…
And yet, I notice there’s no mention of romance anywhere in your review. That’s a little concerning for me, since romance often adds an emotional depth and balance to slice of life or workplace dramas. Without it, I worry the story might feel a bit flat and boring.
In ep1, it shows what the legend was. That was the event known or circulated in the public. Contrary to ep5 where…
Thank you, I understand now. It was a bit confusing at first, I didn’t realise that what was shown in episode 1 was actually the legend that people believed, rather than the actual events. Now that you’ve explained it, it makes a lot more sense seeing how episode 5 reveals what really happened. Appreciate the clarification😊
Why is the first scene in episode 1, where the FL dies, different from the same scene shown again at the end of episode 5? They’re similar, but not identical. What’s the reason for the differences?
You know, i NEVER believe comments when they say that the ending was horrible/confusing because 9 times out of…
That’s interesting, because I feel like in most dramas it’s the ML who devotes his entire life to the FL. He’s out here simping like crazy, chasing her, doing everything for her, getting rejected and humiliated, and she treats him like garbage half the time. Meanwhile, she’s got a whole fan club of male characters orbiting her, and we’re supposed to believe she’s the one sacrificing everything? Come on.
What a shame, this drama could've been really good. But then, from episode 8 It was like 2 different shows. The first half was fantastic, then I just lost interest after all that nonsense involving the evil spirit. The show became less about the leads and more about the evil spirit. I dropped it halfway through episode 10. Current rating 8.6?? What a joke.
That’s exactly why I never watch ongoing dramas. What’s the point of putting yourself through the waiting…
But if the anticipation is part of the fun, I’m just a little confused, what’s with the “killer” and “painful” complaints? Sounds like the wait’s more of a headache than a thrill if you had to post about it.
Damn these one episode days are killer, and we got another one episode day tomorrow as well. One episode days…
That’s exactly why I never watch ongoing dramas. What’s the point of putting yourself through the waiting and frustration? It doesn’t make sense when there are so many other things to watch. If one episode a day feels painful, just wait until the show’s finished and binge it properly. No delays, no drama, literally.
Edit: Dropped. Awful drama.
