Because when you mentioned you're so glad they moved on from that trope, it implies you don't like it when the ML loves anyone but the FL. The trope of the FL with the SML still exists. So when you say you're glad they've moved on from that trope doesn't make sense, unless you're only referring to the relationship between the ML and SFL. You also only mentioned "he was completely smitten with another girl before falling for the main girl." If it's true what you just said that it doesn't matter if it's the ML or FL with feelings for another character, then you wouldn't have just mentioned "he was completely smitten with another girl." That's why i believe you don't like SFL's, but you're just fine with SML's.

Nope, once again, that's not it either. Slowwww burn, skip, fast forward or not, the fact is the FL never loved the ML. She couldn't be with her true love. Once she realised that, she settled for the ML. Just to be clear, i have no preference for the leads. I just want to see a FL in love with the ML. This drama doesn't have it. That's why i rated low.

Even if he told her to stay away, that's fine, but that doesn't mean she goes running straight to the SML for another round of flirting. This isn't a slow burn romance because there wasn't any romance between the leads because she doesn't love him. This drama should be called Story Of FL With SML.

Nope, that's not it. She realised she couldn't have the SML, so she settled for second best. What did she do when the ML was sick? (I think it was on his birthday). She left him alone and went on a romantic walk with the SML. Did you see how much fun she was having? And this was far along in the drama when you all said she already had feelings for the ML. That doesn't seem like something a person would do if they had feelings for the sick guy who's alone on his birthday.

This was so good and way better than the Korean version Rich Man. The story, the beautiful leads, romance, chemistry, interactions, and the happy ending was all very good. Loved it.

She doesn't love him. She just settled for him because she couldn't have the SML. I guarantee if the SML wanted her, she would be in his arms within a heartbeat.

Yep, i agree with you. She never loved the ML. She's always in love with the SML. Even when she settles for the ML she still loves him. The part at the end when we see her all of a sudden with the ML, that's because she knows she couldn't have the SML, so she just settles for the ML. It's not love, at most she cares for him like a good friend or teacher.

This had so much potential, but I dropped it towards the end. I didn't enjoy it because i wasn't convinced she really loves him. I see her choosing the ML only because she couldn't have the SML, so she just settled for the ML. I could see the ML really loved her, but she didn't feel the same way. She loved the SML for most of the drama. In fact, I'm convinced she still loves him even when the leads are together. For those reasons, i dropped it with a low rating.

And as i mentioned earlier, she should leave, and both of them moved on. I never said she should force herself to be with him. The issue is the way she left by taking money without informing the ML or even discussing the situation about the lie. If you were in a relationship and found out your partner is wealthier than you thought, does that mean you break up with him immediately without talking about it? I'm sure you wouldn't, and if you really loved your partner, you wouldn't let something like that lie ruin your relationships unless that person was cheating on you.
