Kieta Hatsukoi is one of my fav BLs. Primarily because Michieda Shunsuke was so good. I love Fourth. Loooove him. He's got tremendous range. But I'm not sure he has the same goofy charm. Still, I'll definitely watch this one because the premise is so funny and Fourth is a dream.
2 eps in and its ok. Kych has charm and likability, even if he feels like he's forcing it a bit. Michael is obviously a newbie. Loving the Dad (why HE needed to be shirtless and in a towel was a mystery). Nothing unique here, but this is one of the few recent Pinoy BL I've been able to sit through past Ep1. I'll give it a shot.
Decent. I liked it. Sweet and fluffy for the most part. The conflicts felt a bit forced and their reactions seemed far too extreme given the circumstances. Perhaps with a bit more time they could have smoothed those out. A bit too much food porn, but the show is called Bon Appetit, afterall. YoonSoo did give off some odd stalker vibes in the beginning. And they got to I love you very quickly. But for a light piece of fluff it all worked and YoonSoo is adorable.
Soft core art film. Looks like they just threw random boys in front of a camera and said, do whatever you want. worst simulated sex ever. worst kisses ever. Horrible direction. Not worth the 14 minutes of your life.
Best episode to date. I was surprised how tender the love scene was with Ai Di. I expected rough, fast, ripping clothes off and being animals. But it was sweet and emotional. And I couldn't stop crying from the moment Sis and Dad approached in the street. Sis' crying when she ran to hug hum, Dad crying at the fridge with the beers, Dad proud of his son for the bakery, the whole family together and so loving and supportive. It was everything. I've already watched most episodes twice. I'll probably watch the whole thing again waiting for next week's episode. LOVE.
Shun Yu gets cuter every episode. And he'sa great actor. Lots of subtle expressions that feel so natural and unforced. I will say they're milking the gay panic a bit, but it's all such fluffy fun.
Absolutely not. Mini-clips of moments of cuteness shot on an iPhone. Glad you guys got to make something. Next time, try to add some substance. NOT INTERESTED.
I'm all for complex characters, but how you redeem ANY of these guys is beyond me. While people can change... these guys would have to be completely different people to be forgiven for their behaviors. I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed with any happy endings, but I'm intrigued to see how they wrap this all up.
And oh my god, I should have waited 5 minutes and watched the rest of the episode. Pimfah is STANDING STILL doing…
And then the all too familiar... I walked in the rain and caught a cold... which you can ONLY catch from being exposed to someone who has a cold. Argh.
