Both kisses kind of caught me off guard. I didn't think BOTH couples would get to that point in the same ep. FahThorn made sense to me, since they've been repressing their feelings for so long that I can imagine once the dam burst open they would go for it. San and Aai felt a bit rushed, given Aai's hesitance all along. And to see them shirtless the next morning means they moved really fast onto the next stage (which San confirmed to his Grandma!). Actually, that's believable, given they are teenage boys. Those kisses would have made me move on quickly too! Haha. I'm not complaining. I'm happy to see them all together, but I just wish the writers would have given us one couple at a time and spread the kisses out over several eps. So I'm glad the DomeVee kiss was held off for another ep or 2. I know this is a tricky relationship for many, but I think they are handling it very well here. Two steps forward, one step back as rational thinking replaces lust.Curious to see how it all plays out over 6 more eps. Lots to look forward to.
This series was a guilty pleasure of mine, for while it had many flaws, I still found myself enamored with WatTine and all their friends. I knew the movie would be a cut down version of the series, but I never really thought about how much would actually be cut out. Well, it was a lot, naturally. Unfortunately many of my favorite moments. We don’t get to see all the little moments that slowly made them (or rather made Tine) fall in love. The first rule of movie making is Show Don’t Tell but this movie is all voice over TELLING us the story. If I had just seen the movie and not the series, I probably would not have finished it. Disappointing. Like others have said, I would have been happier with a Special Episode but then they couldn’t have released that in the theaters to make a quick buck, could they?
Dang. This one has gotten its fangs into me. First, Yoo Seo Bin may be one of the cutest men ever. He's doing a very good job with this role, as well. Sorry to read about his checkered past. Means I can't ever be his BF (haha). Love a good vampire story and the way the story is progressing is somewhat unexpected. Nice job. Relies a bit too much on flashbacks, which are entirely unnecessary, since the eps are so short that there is no way I've forgotten what happened 5 minutes ago - and especially since they could use that valuable screen time for more character development. But looking forward to the next 4 eps.
Not my cup of tea. A bit too silly-teen-sitcomish for me. Over the top acting, stereotyped characters, none of them very likeable. Too much whining and frantic hyperventilating (over things like hanging tangerines off a car mirror). Scenes that drag so the actors can mug. They act more like 12 year olds, not college students. I might give it one more episode, but I don't think I'll be sticking with this one for the long haul.
hi, maybe this is stupid of me but, if the living room is colder than the bedroom and at night the temperature…
Good question. Colds are viruses, and you can't catch a virus from just being cold. You need to be in contact with the virus (meaning someone with the virus or a surface touched by a person with the virus). Now... being cold can weaken your immune system, so you are more susceptible to a virus but you'd still need to come into contact with the virus itself. So the easiest way for a writer to give a person a cold is to have someone sneeze around them, not air conditioning. Haha.
Rewatched for 3x. There are so many flaws in this show and yet I still love it. All the characters are so sweet and innocent. All the actors so adorable and charming. Some really bad writing and acting that somehow I am willing to overlook. King, Boss, Frong, Thara and even Tang deserve bigger roles. Can't wait for S2.

Really enjoying this, especially the focus on the mystery and less romance (just enough romantic tension to keep us interested!)
But one of my least favorite tropes... you don't catch a cold from sleeping on the sofa. Has no Bl writer ever googled this? It's ridiculous - and honestly was entirely unnecessary. Shiro was outgunned, he didn't need to be feverish to be caught.
But that's just a pet peeve of mine, not a real criticism. Can't wait for next week's ep!
Decided to check out an ep in S2 to see if I was missing out. NOPE. Couldn't even make it through half the ep. How I wish I was Thai, so I could get a job writing crap like this, because you obviously don't need to be good at it.
Ep 7 is the best ep so far. They still get a little preachy when they talk about the socio-political issues. None of it feels like a real conversation, but like a structured argument made by someone who only has the basic facts. But even those convos were better in this ep. Happy the Nok/Dan story is finally getting somewhere. Can't wait for the model session in the next ep.
Enjoying this one, love the investigation taking precedence over the romance and how it is slowly changing these two damaged young men. Looking forward to more.
Eh. Simple, straightforward, nothing to really engage with. Just a simple meeting and falling into "like" story. But, it has lots of stupid moments that just brought my enjoyment down.
Not a fan of yaoi girls setting up and then spying on guys, and wasting valuable screen time that could be about the two boys bonding. Not a fan of ridiculous arguments that go on longer than necessary (take a picture over there, no here, no there, no here) Not a fan of pushy guys who don't take no for an answer. He has to WORK. Stop nagging him to take you sight seeing. "Take me out to sightsee at night" ... and then shoot the scene in the middle of the day.
I won't rewatch, but if you're looking for a quick BL fix it's okay.
This is cute, sweet and well done considering the restrictions. I've liked so many of these Covid-based BL's. Very slight, not much going on other than attraction and how to get them together, but still an enjoyable, quick viewing. A little creeped out by the 39 year old coming onto a college student, but I guess it's consensual. I watched 2 eps without subtitles and didn't really need them to get the story. I'd probably watch again if I run out of things... maybe I can find the subtitled eps. Haha.
Cute so far. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing cringey (except the French, but honestly, who cares if their accents are horrible... so is mine). A nice camaraderie between the boys. Interesting that there is so much more to come with the book and the other boys that is not really set up here. I'm intrigued.
Not as good as S1. Not as emotional, not enough character depth. Too many voice-overs. An unsatisfying conclusion to the mystery (I know it's on-going, but could have been tied up better). I was conflicted about the bromance. Hyuk is adorable, charismatic and a good actor, but I thought the connection between Mono and Probe was supposed to be too strong to break, so I couldn't fully root for them to be together. All felt a bit rushed (as it did in S1), but this time with less drive and urgency. I'll watch S3 because I like the originality of this premise, but I'm not expecting much. Sad.
