Yeah. I think that’s what they were going for. I just think Don’t Leave Me wasn’t the right way to say all that. And I have to say, I HATE the whole disease/vaccine dialogue. If anyone ever said something like that to me, I’d vomit. But then again, I’m not a teen girl.

I wasn’t expecting the about face with Pi deciding to go after Nan again. After Ep 6 where Pi breaks down and says “Don’t ever leave me”, I took it as him finally giving up, giving in and accepting Mork. Then they spend a sweet date together and then back to square one. I understand Pi is conflicted, fearful, but they made it seem like he had finally given himself over to Mork so this felt untrue to the character’s evolution. And how can he ever complain when he abandons Mirk less than 24 hours after he says Don’t Leave Ne! But a minor complaint.

I agree with all of you. I've never had a problem with Pi because his real emotions were always so evident underneath the bluster. You can tell (and Mork can tell) that Pi is just arguing because he's covering his confusion/insecurities. He's not being rude because he's a jerk, he simply doesn't know how to deal with this attention. This is probably the first real, honest affection he's ever experienced and he doesn't trust it... or trust himself about it.

For the most part, I enjoyed this series. There were a lot of elements that really annoyed me or made me angry, but some of that was intended by the creators. But while it tried to be self-aware, it failed 50% of the time and relied on the same tropes and cliches it tried to criticize. What’s really fascinating is that a series that aims to expose the darker side of the BL industry and pretends to celebrate a MM relationship, chooses to make a gay man the villain of the series. So even when others are taking advantage of the MC it’s gays who do the most damage and deserve the most wrath. LBGTQIA+ writers need to take over this industry.

Strongest episode yet. Phuwin is best when he is real and not being forced to overreact. That final line, "Just don't leave me" said so much. I give up. I give myself to you. I need you. I will let you be the one. It's a cliche trope but it got me right where it counts this time. Looking forward to the next evolution of this relationship. - I'm dying to know what Louis is like outside this character. He plays the naif very well, but I'm sure he's nothing like this.

I did think that early on, that this is just the plot of his new novel. But then I forgot. Haha. It would be so much more interesting!

I wouldn't say it's a chore, but it feels like a different series than what we started with. The tone and pacing (and even the OST) is very different. Did they decide to go in a different direction mid-stream?

Can't finish. When you only have 6 episodes, please don't waste time on scenes like a lunch with friends that has no purpose (the MC literally had 2 bites and then left and no one else had even eaten), followed by a dinner with Mom that has no purpose other than to talk about the cake.

That tells us ZERO about the characters, the relationship and wastes what little time you have.

Finally, I know this is a Boys Love series, but when every female is shallow and obsessed only with shipping (The boys talk about university, the girls talk about how handsome someone is).you send a horrible message to young girls.

I'm offended for all minorities that are inaccurately portrayed, stereotyped and most especially shown in negative fashion for "comedy". Racism is not funny.

Yes, we should call out all racist portrayals. But none of them are okay.

The implication is that the boys think Sikh men would start a fight. If the boys think this, the writer thinks this. It tells the audience to think that. We can agree to disagree. Comedy is subjective, as are our perceptions of others.

God forbid we should be inclusive and respectful. A joke is much more important than that, but call me psycho - cuz that's enlightened.

Representation matters. If you show "Sikhs" as the bad guys - even for comedy - you're sending a message. I guess they have no one on staff at GMMTV who cares about these things.

Still loving it, but... I'm not a big fan of the over the top "comedy". They force the actors to go too big, which takes away all authenticity. Even good actors are having a hard time pulling it off here. Wish the direction was toned down a bit. Too much yelling. That said, I did LOL at the brushing teeth scene and the "no hands" popcorn scene. Also found the rapping yaoi twins odd, but kinda funny. Already aching for the next episode.

And I have to agree with "a-" below that the Indian/Sikh/Punjabi scene was offensive and inappropriate.

Similarly, no one is forcing you to read the comments. All comments should be welcomed. Negative or positive. That's what a comment section is for.
