14 episodes in and I’m enjoying this drama. The plot and characters are interesting. Better than many popular xianxia dramas. I almost missed this drama coz of what ppl said but I’m glad I checked it out for myself.

Maybe I was wrong but I thought he said Zhongyi and the guard’s cuts were different implying different killers which is true. What I could think of is just that he didn’t make it clear that the guard & Wangshan were killed by the same person. He said it’s only a possibility when he knew it’s the same killer. That’s my guess but I could be wrong since it wasn’t very clear to me.

🤔 what I remember is him saying the cuts between Zhong Yi and that security guard(I forgot his name now, Zhao?) were different. Then the one on Wangshan he said he could only say that it’s possible that it’s from the same person. 🤔 maybe it’s this. Actually he knew it’s from the same killer but was hiding this fact. Possibly a deleted scene where he accepted bribe from Lin Xiang. I hate that we have to deduce this ourselves.

Yes! He was behaving weird but that’s abt it. And I remember he said he’s gonna retire, that’s it.

Can someone explain what the medical examiner did? It said that he accepted bribe I think(asked someone to help me read) but I don’t remember what he did exactly.
The ending is pretty satisfactory for me. I only wished that Feng Gen gets more years than just 13.

Yes that’s a possibility. Not so much Feng Gen coz I think he’s an idiot but his mom, Yan Hongmei. I’m interested to know why Chen Xiaoming jumped. Maybe someone told her Yang Xuesong had died.

Just like I guessed from Ep 2, it’s Wangping & Lin Xiang. I just didn’t know the twists and turns, this part is well done! Yang Lijia 😪 what to say abt him…can’t wait to see his reaction when he finds out his son had died and he’s just helping his son’s murderers to cover up their asses.

Zhongyi died just like that?! I wanna beat so many ppl up arghh!! The police is going after the wrong person. I’m pretty sure by now(I’ve just finished Ep 7) that Yang Xuesong is dead. If they could just put YXS aside and think from a new perspective they might get closer to the real murderer(s).

When I said Wangping I included the guy who’s always with her. That guy is not to be messed with. He looks deadly to me. She just needs to give a nod and he’d kill for her.

On Ep 4, just based on instinct I just don’t think that the murderer is Yangsi nor his stepson. I feel that it might be Wangping.
