Sure it does but it’s still very good imo and quite different from the usual crime dramas where the whole drama is about finding the villain. This one is very upfront with it and focuses more on how the cat and mouse game is played. The comments on Douban and Weibo were overly critical imo and I’m a bit concerned coz I don’t want the rating to be lower that what it really deserves. Anyway I’m off topic 😂

Yup I mentioned the slower pace but I’m ok with it. Not sure why there’re so many negative comments on Douban and Weibo. Are we watching the same drama? 🤔

Ep 9 & 10 slowing down a little bit but still interesting.

I actually like the cinematography too. And the plot is getting more and more complicated. I feel that everyone around Jianghe is suspicious. I’m also suspicious of the cop in glasses.

Is anyone else pissed off at Miss Qi & Tianqing’s mom like me? Miss Qi is such a narrow-minded woman and all she does when things don’t go her way is to throw threats. And Tianqing’s mom abandoned her and now feels entitled to meddle with her life? Her suddenly missing without any news must be traumatizing to Tianqing as a child!

I’m worried for Nan Lan after Ep 22. Although she’s smart I don’t think she has any idea how cruel and mad Jin Biyun is or that she’s the next target.

I was surprised. The way they all described the eldest bro was as if he’s really a good person. I think Nan Lan is better off with the pirate 😂

Yup I feel that she’s a ticking time bomb too.

I looked at the cast listed here on MDL and I’m still clueless who is Kuang Cai Yun? Supposed to be a main role but I’m already on Ep 10 and I still don’t know who that is.

Plz tell me at which ep Zhuang Yiyi will disappear for good. She’s getting on my nerve soooo much!

Reached Ep 26 and I’m a little tired. It’s a bit repetitive with the FL always winning and I’m also sick of that Zhuang Yiyi. Why’s she still in this drama ughh! But for the love of cultural relics, I’m gonna watch till the end.

Yes that’s what they told in the story but I have my doubts abt how true it is. When she listened to what her husband said about her condition, she had a strange look. I dunno if it’s her acting or there’s supposed to be more. Coz after watching till Ep 26 now, every arc has a good resolution except that one. Which is strange and I can only blame the editing 😪

Oh yes totally forgot about the spoiler, thanks! I think that arc was unfortunately cut out. It can't be just like that. Other arcs talking abt other cultural relics had a whole complete conflict and resolution. So sad coz I really wanted to know what happened there. Such a nice mysterious plot wasted...

Has anyone finished this drama? I’m so confused with the pottery arc, the one played by Yin Zheng and Wu Jinyan. It looks like they’re hiding some secrets and to me it looks like both twins are still alive but they’re pretending that one is dead? I watched until Ep 16 and there’s no continuation to this arc. It’s so random and hanging there just like that. Nothing gets explained or resolved??
