Although the series had its flaws and cracks - especially where the writing is concerned - I had fun with it. I enjoyed meeting and analyzing the characters. I reminisced about my trainee days and I actually took some time to decide where I wanted to go from here. I wrote down a few options and I hope that I can achieve those goals little by little.
It was also fun bantering and sharing opinions with all of you. And that's a wrap!
The time skip was done beautifully, but what irks me is that Jane and Ryan didn't have any contact in 5 years and Jane just returns and expects to pick up where he left off. Why not try long distance relationship? The last time I checked, we're in 2024 where all sorts of technology are available. Why was the writing so lazy and rushed? And Ryan is a saint because I would've smacked Jane silly... and then made him attempt to win me back. And then Jane's bold ass be talking about marriage. Jane, please! 😂🤣
Jane didn't have a cheerleader to motivate him toward fulfilling his ultimate dream, until Ryan. He had the talent, but he lacked the courage to go forward. Ryan tumbling into his life made him realize what he was missing out on and he had to go after it before it was too late.
I hope you all have a Ryan in your life. Be it a friend, a partner, or even a family member, that can be your cheerleader no matter what.
Tiny Ryan struggling with a drunken Pah! 😂🤣 It's a good thing he was drunk otherwise he might've been "traumatized" by the upcoming kissy show at the front. I'd love to see the BTS to see Poon's reaction.
Jane just walking away from the MV drama like that and then ghosting Ryan was uncharacteristic of him. After all, he was always the one urging Ryan to "ask me anything" and saying sweet words like "I always want to talk to you" so him doing that was weird.
I just realized that this will be the first time I'll be watching Pahn. Based on the pilot trailer, she seems like a pretty decent actress, so I am looking forward to discovering a new talent.
In the preview for the last episode, it looks like Jane quits Good Pick. If he does, good for him because he needs to move on and finally realize his goal.
And Ryan looks so forlorn, I wonder if he and Jane is going to be apart for a bit? 🤔 Nah! It's the last episode. They can't do that to us unless they're planning another season.
Oh, White, if you only knew how much these words will come back to wreck you!
