Thank you for doing research. I've been meaning to but can never seem to get around to it.
Huh? People are so weird out here. When I started to look up Thailand a few years ago, I got as far as when it was called Siam and I read about one of their Kings being a Francophile, but to make up things as if it's some kind of fantasy story? Weird. I know Thai history is complicated, but I'll take whatever I can get as a history fanatic, so that's why I got excited when I read your post. Thank you once again, but most importantly, thanks for actually taking the time to do the research. Whatever else you intend to post regarding any Thai history, I'll most definitely read it.
I think Jane's "hostility" against Ryan grew from that misunderstanding during the interview where a confused Ryan made the interviewers believed that his parents owns this big agency. To be fair, Baimon wasn't giving him a chance either. His excitement overwhelmed poor Ryan. And Jane is probably thinking that Ryan is entitled and is going to be a brat. However, despite Jane being a strict mentor, he didn't forget to thank the interns, and that says something about his personality.
Gun is multi-talented and no one is going to tell me otherwise. His facial expressions throughout deserve their own credit, and his OST is so cute!
It's beyond the frontier of my mind why people even call Off "unattractive". It's ridiculous! Watching him as Jane in this, I couldn't stop GAGGING over his beauty. Off is giving me versatility. As Ten, he was fluffy and cute and awkward, and as Jane, he's a tough cookie.
The first episode was a delight and the production quality is INSANE! I had high hopes in the cinematography because director Nat did 'Enigma' and I was in love with the production scale. He knows how to use his colors and I can't wait for his direction of 'Break Up Service'. And the French accordion music? I LOVE IT! I'm a sucker for accordion music, memes, GIFs, background sound, whatever!
The opening had me going, "Aww, look at Ryan trying to adult." It took me a few seconds to fall in love with him because, in him, I could see myself. I loved Gun in the brief seconds as the big bad boss in the chair. Like, GMMTV, mafia boss Gun when? And boy, does Ryan hate the word "objective". Same, Ryan, same. I especially love the symbolism in the scene where Jane comes to collect Ryan, and he walks on the block that says "Start 1". Ryan is starting a new future in adventure, love, and fun, but he doesn't know it as yet.
Sea and Piploy are cute and Pompam is a riot! This is the first time I am watching Poon, and I like him. I love View as Pie! Man, she's scary! I swear her expression rivaled Jane's while she was interviewing next to Ryan.
So, that's my jumbled thoughts in a nutshell. It's like "Big Bang Theory" meets "Ugly Betty" and "Theory of Love" out on a date with "Cooking Crush" and I like it, and I'm going to rewatch it in a bit because it finished too soon.
1 more day! Just one more day! However, I won't be able to watch it immediately as I have to admit a relative of mine in the hospital for a surgical procedure. I hope you all enjoy the first episode.
I'm not entirely sure, but there was a meeting or script reading today! Someone on X says the filming might start in Aug/Sept but it looks like it may even be sooner.
This is the third series that I'm watching with Fon and nope, I still can't tolerate her as an actress. Every time she's on screen, I resort to rolling my eyes.
I know I've said enough here for the day, but I just want to add that I'm excited & happy that Gun got his first solo OST. I love his voice especially on ballads.
What I love about OG, every single time I watch them, they feel like a new couple to me. I never feel bored watching them onscreen. It's like their chemistry keeps renewing with every series they play in together, so I know I'm going to like the JaneRyan era.

Now, off to watch the trailer for a few more times because the cinematography is SERVING!
