Probably the negative reaction stems from cultural traditions and bureaucratic systems within China itself. My Chinese teacher once explained that having a child outside of marriage is met with societal and institutional challenges. For instance, unmarried parents face obstacles in securing official documentation for the kid, which hinders access to public services. For example difficulties enrolling the child in schools or kindergartens, or healthcare and social welfare systems. In other words - such deviating from conventional family models could lead to tangible disadvantages. Oh, there are many people in this world who can have extreme emotions but after that emotional brake down - they are totally fine the next day. I am such a person. Because why to dwell on misery, if you can experience so many good feelings in this world. So TQ behaviour (fast move from bad emotions) is totally fine and understandable for me.

Exactly 😄. Now I’m curious about the tactic TQ will choose. Both SM and FJ were independent from him and so difficult to reach—arguably on the same power level as TQ, which made it challenging for him to even maintain contact with them. On the other hand, SCC seems to him to be more dependent (as she’s an employee) and is always easy to reach. TQ has already assessed their "power dynamics" in the elevator 😅 and approved his "upper hand" in their relationship. But, drama often takes unexpected turns, so I’m looking forward to seeing how their interactions unfold.
