Kawi lost his father three times. THREE. He saw a timeline where he was an alcoholic and lost everyone dear to him except max. No, he lived through it. Some people only saw kawi's childish antics and his 'gigantic flaw's of not treating pisaeng the way he 'deserved'. But how many can be as strong as kawi? He kept putting in all his efforts, kept failing miserably, but he still refused to give up. He threw away his version of a better life because he couldn't bear the thought of his loved ones not being happy. Through it all, he refused to simply sit and wallow in his suffering, so the audience forgot about it to. I know a lot of kawi's in real life lol. The world will put a band aid on your scraped skin if you cry hard enough about it, but roll her eyes at someone laughing through a sprained ankle because; don't worry about me, it's fine. When pisaeng took kawi's hand and said: be optimistic, believe things would work out for the best, I chuckled. He simply didn't understand what kawi had been through, bless his heart. Now that he travelled back in time simply at the thought of kawi dying and he's going through the same 'pessimistic' thoughts kawi once did, he definitely understands to an extent. It's calling out the audience too, because it was easier for us to accept kawi's father's death, we could marvel at the philosophy of life and accept death as inevitable. But now that it's something or someone we care about, it's different isn't it? That's life. For 90% of us, our ideals, beliefs, 'righteousness' crumble at the slightest touch of a bleak reality. But 10% of people, superhumans in my humble opinion, are strong enough to practice what they preach. So I'm really grateful to Khun waasuthep ketpetch. Granted, I'm not nearly as optimistic about life as he seems to be, but I'll always be in awe and appreciation of optimism that doesn't disregard reality.
There are a lot of things we take for granted. Imagine not being able to make decisions concerning the survival of your beloved. I know there's a lot of 'hype', both good and bad, around issues regarding LGBTQIA rights but at it's core this is basic human rights we're talking about. It shouldn't even be up for discussion.
The love scene was so beautiful it made my heart hurt. I'll forever be grateful to P'Wa. Despite all my anxiety regarding the toxicity krist would get and my worry about his mental health I could still appreciate this series in all it's beauty. I'll be hoping everyday they get to work together again. The messages in this series are so timely, and I hope they can be of a little comfort to those that need to hear them.
Indeed I was massively dissapointed because of high expectations due to P.S I hate you(I didn't quite watch everything but the quality can't be denied) but after four episodes I'm starting to think maybe fun and cringe is exactly what they were going for?
Let it be known, acting skills are independent of gender. It's a fact that female actors should get better opportunities and more recognition, stop using this for petty hypocritical takes please. Implying that women are better actors simply because they are women or that the reverse is the case for men is laughable and very untrue.
Enjoyed all two seconds of hack's screentime lol. Next week may give me more hacknathee. Nanon's arc seems pretty interesting, looking forward to the next episode
