I just finished watching it and I still don't get why the rating's bad. People were probably expecting pretty flowers and a ribbon wrapped 'sad' story

They did overdo the tragedy however I don't get why people keep saying it's so bad, it's way better than a lot of dramas, just because the characters have tragic lives and personalities doesn't make the drama bad

Really enjoyed the beginning but got sluggish later on. Overall it's a very good watch

I've read too many novels that this seems a little too boring. The storyline isn't bad but I've seen it done, the dialogues are also so basic, let's not even get started on the too obvious dramatic scenes. Dropped

Had quite a lot of potentials but too many plot holes, each episode keep feeling as though some scenes have been deleted, dropped.

Not bad got all the romcom cliches but I suppose it never gets too old for romance lovers. It has its funny moments though if the Shen brothers were my sons I'd find a cane to reset their dumb 'love brain', they made quite a number of wrong choices in the name love!

I'm really enjoying the drama so far and chemistry between the leads is great but what I don't get, in such a political situation is how and why did the late Emperor grant the marriage between her and Xiao Xun in the first place! Her father commands the largest troops in the kingdom and everyone is aware that Xiao Xun and his father were eyeing the throne!

If you can't even tell a person's attitude towards another by studying their behavioral patterns then it's a total waste explaining anything to you.

Xiao Zhan's roles are really diversified.

ML really doesn't emote emotion but that made it a lot more funny when his petty/childish arc started. I for one like his performance here better than the LYF and SJ

The beginning was a bit slow/slice of life but it got really better. I especially love the ML character development and the dramas him and his best friend cook up whenever they're together. The FL too is really great and independent, the political plot is a bit simple but the drama itself is really not bad overall.
