Very bold choice of them to show no scenes of them dating. I regret reading the web comic first because it showed how good this story could be and then instead it was...this.
After watching the trailer I realise I wanted less comedy/mélo and a more darker serious tune from the bullying…
For romance: Secret Love Affair except the ending is kind of happy/hopeful. Or World of the Married. Or That Winter the Wind Blows (pretty melo though). Or one of my personal favorites: Heartless City. For super dark bullying: The King of Pigs. Those are all Korean.
I was caught off guard by the reveal about his mother but it was perfectly foreshadowed in a previous episode when he said he saw his mom as a ghost smiling fondly at him.
I know everyone hates Kim Ba Da and she's SUPPOSED to be hated, but I can't help but find her purely entertaining…
You are so right about her being entertaining. I'm used to some truly desperate second leads but she is so over the top delusional it's hilarious. The proposal, stealing the engagement ring, fake hurting herself - it truly is peak comedy. Maybe next time she'll stand under a piano dangling from a rope threatening to get crushed if he doesn't marry her.
I'm on episode 24 and I want to love it but it is so. darn. slooow. Slowest "thriller" I've ever seen. I can't decide if I should drop it or stick it out.
I don't know why I can't let go of this question I have but... I am still so confused about whether Gi Eun and Yun O had sex or not? Did they have the crazy sex we saw or was he impotent? Why would the show have that scene if they didn't do it but why would she lie to her friends that it didn't happen? I feel like it was the only time there was an unreliable narrator and I want to know why.
This show deserves more activity in the comment section. The pace remains fantastic. Other daily shows would take 50 plus episodes to reveal the kinds of things they've already revealed.
yes. But its going very fast (not in a bad way) so im wondering if 100eps is too much.
I'm almost caught up and you weren't kidding. They go through plot so fast! I'm used to birth secrets and reunions dragging out forever in daily dramas. I much prefer it this way and I hope they can keep it up.
Add me to the list of people who ship Seo Yeon and Tae Pyeong. The brother and sister romantic relationships in Go Ahead and Autumn in my Heart bothered me a lot (where they grew up together the whole time) but this one doesn't with the twenty year separation. Also their chemistry is so cute.
I could tell from the trailer that I would ship them
