then in other (gmmtv) series they plague the actors with fake tattos like wtf
It was a genuine question! I do not mind tattoos real or fake. But there is a character here who is a tattoo artist and has no visible tattoos! I found it surprising for this character's attributes (or lack thereof) NOT the actor's! I found it surprising but maybe I am wrong?
This reminds me of White Christmas which I dropped halfway through. Will I be dropping this too? Ep. 4 This series is suspenseful but I fail to see how they're going to stretch this investigation over 10 days/episodes. Also, they must have made it with a very limited budget: how come there are only about 10 parents worried about 29 kids being held hostage/killed in school? Where are all the other parents? At home being reasonable and calm and waiting? Not logical! Another problem I am having with this drama (and very very often with japanese doramas) is the inappropriate kind of music, the music does not fit the feeling of the scene it is played over. Here it is even more glaring than usual: the sweeping orchestral music makes me think of wide open spaces, hills and grass not the claustrophobic hostage situation. It is really unnerving!
On episode 6 and still such a toil to get forward with it...I keep falling asleep!!!! EDIT: That's it! I give up! I cannot watch this anymore! So much worse than the first series which I adored! The acting in this one is just awful!!!! Pan Seok's childlike innocent expressions are weird and Wook is talking like a kid as well. Why? Oh why?
He has two main roles . Already had movie and series successfully done before before joining gmmtv
Yes I know: that's why I do not understand what he was doing here (BTW, his is THE ONLY part worth watching here since the rest is just so messy and average though fun to watch if you do not think about the logic at all!!!) Someone described this series as KinnPorsche in kindergarden!🤣🤣
Why is Momoe regressing so much, squealing and making faces and speaking with a baby voice, constantly breathless? It is so much worse than in the first two seasons... Just utterly awful! What a disappointment!
Why is this phrased as though an actor doing BL is a bad thing?
No it definitely is not a bad thing. On the other hand, whai IS bad is being stuck doing ONLY bls: their career is certainly going to be short. That's why I think they need to branch out!
This must be one of the best reviews I have read on this site! Hilarious! Second only to Anushka's review of Gu Family's Book. Thank you so much for laughs! I am halfway through this thing, and everything you say is spot on!
My pet peeve: actors playing swimmers! Can the casting directors find someone who can actually swim correctly and not look like a child just learning to swim? There are often characters who are supposed to be accomplished swimmers: training swimming or working as a fisherman or living by the seaside all their lives...It is so cringeworthy! Here Neungdiao sits by the pool admiring Palm's non existent swimming skills! The last time I saw proper swimming was in Between Us...
Why is Perth back with the GMMTV doing BLs again? And as a secondary character? I had high hopes for him since he is one of the best young actors out there! What happened?
For real. Among all our friends, I am the only one who doesn't like to drink. I may drink but just a shot or two.…
Peer pressure, society pressure, workplace pressure, cultural pressure....choose one! I do not like the taste of alcohol, so I don't drink: guess how often am I invited to parties?
So far (ep.4) I don't seem to be able to get hooked on the second season! I absolutely adored the first season and for once I looked forward to the second one (I am very much against second seasons for K dramas!). But this is weirdly unwatchable: Kim Wook's long hair is annoying (and does he really need to grimace so much?!?), Pan Soek's childlike attitude disconcerting and in general rather disappointing!
People here say the book is better so I looked it up: there is a rather good official translation on Amazon Kindle for 19euros!!!!!! Are they mad? That is the price of a paper book not an electronic one! But I guess, the currently airing show's superfans will be buying it nevertheless! Good for you!
He was never stuck with him. They had several acting partners besides each other before and after they became…
Yes I know, I know and I just finished Midnight Motel and Off was not half bad in it....but nowdays they seem to be more famous as a ship then as separate actors. I just don't like them together. But their ship seems to have a huge fan following! I am not one of them! Sue me!😂
