Honestly, they were basically able to bring back Gu Jun, Jingyiang... Bai Ju. I don't get why they couldnt bring back Yunmei? Like damn, Tianqi deserves a happy ending too.
This drama was fantastic! From the leads down to the support roles. Everyone's acfing was perfect! You could really connect with each of the cast, and feel their emotions.
Also, I don't understand all the hate for the FL, saying she wasn't perfect. I was skeptical at first, because I watched Sparrow, and her acting was alright. But she blew me out of the waters in her portrayel of Shangu and Houchi. When she was carefree, she was carefree, but her bad ass scenes were badass!
he cheated on his girlfriend and has rape allegations
I dont know if I truly believe those rape allegations. There is a bunch of fishy stuff with that. She went to great lengths to make fake accounts pretending to be his company, so that she could have screenshots to provide. She first said they got her so drunk so that he could rape her. But then later recanted, stating it wasnt her. She didnt go to the police, she emailed his company wanting to handle it a private manner, in a dollar amount. It was only after she plastered everything online did she state she wanted justice. Either way his career is done for in China.
Uhmmmmm... the scene where the Pavillion Lord, pulled Qing Qing to sit on his lap was pretty hot. They carried the show. I don't care what anyone says. They need their own drama!
Qing Qing, was pretty annoying in the beginning, but she really grew on me. Her love story with Xue Qian Yun, was more believable than the main leads. It was a gradual build. You can find it reasonable for him to make sacrifices for her, and why he would be willing to go through pain for her. I felt the Main Leads story lacks that. It was the typical cliche falling in love instantly with each other, and the Dragon King just putting himself through suffering.
