Title Dream to You Spoiler
Maybe she known for choosing her own leads without permission and getting what she wants using power or force,…
same! Today was perfect for a flashback when Yijae mentioned how she filmed Subin more than Yugeon back in the days!

I do wish kdramas could be a bit more flexible with the episode counts, atleast for the sake of the stories they tell. it looks like these days unless it's a star writer.. all we get is 12 eps or less!

agree with you on the flashbacks! I would rather see the 'at 22 you came to me with no money and only this script' as an actual flashback scene, along with a bit more about how their present bond came to be. I don't know if we have enough time left to explore this, or if it is even a major plot point, but I would love to get some more backstory.

ep7 was great for me! more development on the movie, the second couple, and an excellent ending scene! the OST…
now if only we could parcel the abusive dad and the controlling mom into a nice little box and send them off our screens — it would be perfect!

ep7 was great for me! more development on the movie, the second couple, and an excellent ending scene! the OST list is probably one of the best to come out of a kdrama. ultimately, it was always about subin giving yijae back her dream. seeing her happy on the set feels healing haha. we had some quirkly historical gag scenes today which were super fun!

Title Dream to You Spoiler
I think they're trying to do too many things in a drama with only 12 episodes. The leads relationship development…
Huh?! Who wouldn't be mad at Yugeon for signing with that terrible, controlling woman? She is abusing her power to control her daughter and the casting. I honestly don't get what she gains from casting Yugeon in the movie she is investing in, but Subin's reaction was completely natural. Hana was angry at him too for the same reason. Yugeon could have auditioned and gotten the role himself probably, had he tried, or he could have even gone to any other agency, really.

I mean, at the end of the day, it's not really Yugeon's fault for accepting the offer that came along; that's his sad reality. He took what he probably thought was the best option available to establish himself, but he did see firsthand how unhappy Hana was.

In the same way, ML has the right to feel wronged, too. Subin says himself that Yugeon will do well because he is talented, and he wanted to make him audition and cast him for the movie anyway. but he was arm-twisted into casting the SML instead of going through a fair audition. He has seen from close quarters how cunning the CEO is, and I read his anger more as helpless frustration that the SML fell into her trap as well.

Now watch that CEO abandon the SML according to her own whims, just like we see in the preview for the next episode.

I think people these days just want the characters to be perfect like Ai
fr. they have no patience for a slow burn or to watch character growth over the course of a drama.

idk what some of yall are talking about lol. the drama has good, realistic writing where the characters are flawed and imperfect. excited to see their relationship rekindle as colleagues this week. looks like there's gonna be more progress on their movie from last week's preview.

he is not her babysitter.. theyre co directing it is a big deal she doesnt need a man around her at all timesif…
They know that already; that she is the one who wrote the script and that's why she's co directing it! She has no other acclaim or previous experience directing a movie - they even half heartedly accepted it precisely because they are aware this is her script. ML rebukes and reiterates this fact to the assistant director the next morning at breakfast as well. Her name is literally on the script, and the crew member who meets her outside (the one she twisted the arm of) recognises and addresses her as Director Ju Yijae.

The disrespect comes from prejudice and envy, not due to lack of introductions or them being unaware of who she is and why she's directing the movie. It's their prejudice that her role is unearned and she got this chance solely due to nepotism/her closeness to subin.

I loved their argument in this recent episode it was very realistic. that is why clear communication is very important…
it was refreshing how they addressed it directly.

yes but realistically she has no standing with the crew currently. neither has she gone to film college nor does she have anything in her repertoire; no portfolio. why would an experienced crew listen to her? granted she wrote the script but that's it. their respect is hers to earn and she will.

Trending globally on top 2 with 8 million average, feels like this flopped, I don't think this will get renewed…
huh isn't 8 million views really good for week 2?

they were in the casting process for the film. subin talks about that over the call with inuk in some part of…
uh no scripts are usually sent to the actress's agency for them to read through and select if they like it. But in this case, I'm pretty sure CEO Ahn is also co-producing the movie. Remember that earlier scene where Inuk met up with her to pitch the proposition
