I love melodramas but I had to drop this one😭 and skip to the end.Binge watching is a bad idea, it sucks out…
I'm at the same stage at ep6 now 🥲 it's frustrating especially when you know the next part is emotional cheating. i hate the thought of seeing eunjung suffer 🥲 when she has been nothing but sweet and kind
Unrelated but isn't it more profitable for netflix to not dump full length dramas all at once like this when dramas…
exactly. we got wlgt split into 4 parts, idk why they couldnt have done the same here.
the larger part of the audience would get tired halfway through for a story like this. better to have the hype and discourse going for longer, hence pushing more people to watch or give it a try.
with melos, especially depressing ones like these, the fate of the drama is often decided as early as the first day or release, when the initial reviews drop. spoilers are up the second day of release and the fate of the drama is sealed. 🥲
What are the chances of The Winning Try "scoring" some nominations in next years Baeksang Awards? I could…
these days baeksang is more biased towards buzz and popularity than content or quality imo. the winning try didn't have a lot of buzz and the ratings were avg too.
really enjoyed my time with coach ju garam and his boys ❤️ all the actors were perfectly casted and well acted! The days I watched the Rugby team were some of my happiest this year, I'll miss them! 🥺
i think he didn't name the book mangunrok yet when he met her, so he wouldn't know the book she was talking about…
yeah i suppose that's true, he doesn't recognise her yet. but kdrama romance plot wise it might indeed turn out he subconsciously/his soul did recognise her from their past life 😂 since this is a time loop from the looks of it, the king wrote the OG mangunrok in the past too, maybe this time the history will change
the credits are wrong, right? isn't one of the girl friends missing? and I don't understand 5 main roles...
yeah the cast credits are wrong. cha woomin and kang mina are barely cameos. it's netflix's fault tho. they had released initial script reading with these 5 and promotions were centered around them too.
CRAZY THEORY but what if the king recognised her the first time they met? it's obvious now that he wrote the mangunrok, and his message was also most likely to jiyeong in a past life. i mean he is this tyrant king and jiyeong literally bossed him around the first night 💀 what if that's the reason he spared her life and brought her to the palace.
or atleast his subconscious recognises her fosho lol. this is a fantasy romance hey! or maybe it's more fun to have the tyrant king just be amused by this strange women he met, who he then gradually fall in love with again lol? yeah endless possibilities i love this drama! can't waitttt😂

i heard the outro song in the first ep and knew it was the Interest of Love's director. Confirmed I'm gonna love this. He's the master of melos.
