Didn't have high hopes because this is kinda an idol drama. But it's not bad. I enjoyed it more than the chinese…
just curious tho, how is it an idol drama? the themes aren't related to music and none of the characters are idols? or do you mean the actress, yeah jung chaeyeon was an idol but she has transitioned to acting career pretty much completely imo
I just finished episode 6 so it might be too early to tell, but I find it very vague what happened to Juwon’s…
he didn't mean madam lied about him being a widower. so basically the show starts with lil juwon saying and repeating "a horaebi (widower) can do anything". neither lil juwon nor her friends know what horaebi really means. her dad asks her who told her this and she asks him if madam lied (that her dad is a horaebi, and horaebis can do anything. can even bring an oppa lol). that's the it's true but not at the same time thing he refers to.
later in the episode madam and juwon's dad has a convo near the steps where her mom is mentioned. she died when juwon was a baby (no cause is explicitly mentioned, but presumably just after child birth) and both juwon and her dad came to haedong from seoul.
just completed ep1. right off it feels different from s1. more idk brighter? s1 felt more gloomy and desperate right off the bat. it does get intense towards the end so that's that. will see.
I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
it's probably the best kdrama ever imo. perfect mix of timetravel/soul switch, comedy, sageuk, along with well placed and subtle social commentary, stellar cast and acting. essentially a famous chef travels into the body of a joseon era queen, and fun ensues! ;)
i would recommend going in blind, buckle in and enjoy the ride and laughter.
Is JTBC known for literally no promotional channel or what because I am waiting for updates on this and Good Man…
jtbc promotions start 1-2 months before the confirmed airing date. good boy doesn't have a set date yet, hence no promos, although jtbc did drop some stills during Olympics.
When did they get together?Any breakup? How long?Any love Triangle? Annoying?Did the brothers fight? Was it long?
1. around ep 12 2. no break up 3. no love triangle 4. not fights per se, just brotherly fights that lasted maybe 5-10 mins long lol and was resolved quickly and funnily
It was odd to me that both Haejun and his mom didn't approach their respective partners, Juwon's Dad and Dal,…
yk I'm so curious how future binge watchers would find it. we loved the drama despite the shortcomings cuz the journey over the last two months with all the offscreen contents, discussions and everything was so warm & wholesome. we had time to process and accept. would be so interesting to know the other pov.
It was odd to me that both Haejun and his mom didn't approach their respective partners, Juwon's Dad and Dal,…
but you are right tho. this happened with all couples ig the writer isn't very good at showing povs from both sides. like we got proper sanha, dal & partial yoon appa pov. their partners much less so
all the sanha juwon scenes these two episodes were adorable. the kisses, the cafe scenes 😭 they are beautiful, please someone cast them together in a rom com again
