There was as scene earlier in the drama when Do Yun exposed that her mom was faking her illness in the hospital where all the reporters surrounded Jae In when she showed up at the house trying ask her questions about her mom. So, it makes little sense that people did not know who the real Jae In was.

I think the mother also sees herself as the head of the family and therefore entitled to or feels that she has to protect the boys.

But what is frustrating me and I believe the writers are depicting this way for the healing to come later, is the fact that Do Yun and his uncle do not seem to have the ability to explain themselves. They have so far given very weak attempts to do so.

Do Yun caused this in the first place, but now all 3 of them to include Jae In know a lot more than they did when he first had Jae In stay in the house. He is still keeping his mother in the dark about what they suspect really happened even if they have not confirmed it with solid evidence yet.

Finally, the mom seems to be in such pain she has lost or does not have the ability right now to listen. She seems to want to deal with the pain with anger.

Does Gi Chan not know Se Ri was the one who tried to kill Jae In, and in the process killed his son?

While it's still early I love seeing the evil side sweating. A slow and painful down fall is always better to watch.

I am hoping Kangsu steps in and gives his mom and his baby sister the support they need to get through this and also is a bridge between the 2 families. Tak's is obviously too petty, too far gone and too selfish to be of any use to them right now.

When Seri is at home she spends 99 percent of her time in bed. I guess she loves it there but they could have given her a hobby or art to practice instead.

Hani's birth mother passing away during child birth would have been more compelling than turning her from a character that couldn't get past sowing her wild oats, to marrying a wealthy man, to a mother begging to be with her child, to a would be kidnapper and stalker all in less than 2 years.

The writers could have also turned her into a mother truly remorseful for her past actions and mistakes, and doing all she can to prove that she can be a good co-parent, even though too much had happened for them to be together as a couple.

In the end, the writers will probably redeem her, making all the past drama overly dramatic and unnecessary.

Finally, the dancer and the hairdresser already had a love triangle arc, so with nothing left to tell of their story other than marriage, they bring in an old flame storyline that everyone knew would go nowhere.

I don't know what the law is on this and maybe I missed it but it seems like the Eagle Brewery has pretty good grounds for a law suit against the Tak's brewery. 2 officers of that company tried to ruin their business financially. The crime does not seem to be one where they would get that much time for and probably only probation.

Well, they can't just fire her they need board approval for that. So, they will probably deceive and convince enough board members to vote for her removal.

Gi Chan had no problem framing Director Do for something he himself did and the old Chairman was easily fooled.

Yes, she did some dirt before. At the direction of her MIL, she got that medicine the MIL gave Jae In to make her look crazy and signed off on the guardian form to commit her. She is still responsible for her actions, and as a doctor, she should have known better not to put her medical license at risk and get duped by her uneducated MIL.

She also did not tell the FL she knew before the FL did that Se Ri was cheating with her husband.

I hope she decides to have the backs of Seungu and Jae In and even joins Jae In's team. She is not afraid of these people. She has already confronted her husband, MIL, Jae In's mother, and Se Ri. She can stand on her own. I want to see her get more involved in the fight.

Yep. They have no plans to turn the company over to her or her son. She has no clue who she is dealing with. She is now entering her screw around and find out phase. I bet she looks to Jae In and her ex to save her.

Pretty much. If it's not actual murder the writers of these sort of dramas will give some of the worst characters to ever grace the small screen redemption arcs. Thieves, kidnappers, physical abusers, adulterers. It doesn't much matter what they did.

Did Gi Chan's mom quit school after elementary? I think all 3 of her kids are brain-damaged.

Also, the relationship between O Seong and his son is fun to watch.

I think you are right, and I also think having Jae In stay with her, as well as her mother working with her and getting to know them both, will be what helps with the healing process. But, it will be tougher with the mom because she did try to physically hurt her daughter.
