This is way more interesting than First Man because the writer actually makes use of all the characters. All of them are involved in moving the story. The writer is not depending on one character to provide all the drama, while the others react after the fact and take no initiative of their own.

That's been my complaint throughout. The wasted characters. Hongju and Sanwol should have and could have been wreaking havoc at the house and at the company. Instead, they shared a bedroom. Sent Tae Pyeong back to the side dish shop, where he was pretty much useless.

I don't like when the villain dies anyway. I would rather they live to suffer for their actions. It does not look like they are bringing Seo Rin back, although it's not an unheard of plotline to think someone is dead and they bring them back.

Hwa Yeong is busy fabricating the results.

I am not doubting that. But what I am saying is there could be any number of reasons why they extended this drama this much, that they don't want the public to know. Controlling the media is not that hard and routine in real-life South Korea.

Just because they cited ratings doesn't make it so. The entertainment industry in South Korea, just like almost everywhere else, is not known for being honest.

The ratings for this drama have consistently been under 6%.

Underperforming (Under 6%): For a major public broadcast network, dipping below 6% means the storyline is failing to retain its core audience.

We have had over 100 episodes of every single thing going her way. Even when it doesn't, she can just talk her way out of any jam. She can bribe anyone; even if someone utters some critical information under their breath, she will be in the perfect position to overhear it. Spoon-fed information. It's just absurdity after absurdity.

Of course, she is winning again. This has never been a revenge drama. Instead, it has always been a story about the rise and fall of Hwa Yeong.

It's Hwa Yeong's world, and all the others are just secondary characters in it. Her downfall will come at her own hands rather than at the hands of those seeking revenge.
