Well Qianyu meant that Gu Ran used to give only those toys which he didn't like, in other words Gu Ran didn't give those which he himself liked. Here Qianyu was looking at Jiang Jia which shows that he knew about Gu Ran's feelings and also he knew that Gu Ran won't let Jiang Jia go to him; and Qianyu will also not take her from Gu Ran as he's aware of his feelings.

I've currently watched till 7th ep and I'm telling this is just soooo gooood❤️. The leads are literally cute af, I'm so much in love with Zhou Yiran (ofc I like the fl too). What I like about this series is that despite being a simple romance and youth series it is not like some typical cringey drama. The fl is clingy but she's not annoying and stupid at all, instead she's really cute. And the ml is also not a typical poker-faced campus ace who is god-like perfect🙄. The chemistry between them is just perfect, they both have their merits and demerits and none of them is all-rounder kinda person, which seems realistic. The other support roles are also portrayed very well. I really like the screenplay very much, there is no cringe at all. I'm excited and also impatient🥲 for the further episodes🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼
