I agree it's disaster ,but it's part of how things happened back then.the only unrealistic here might be how he still loved her(not for me,but for so many viewers and i can see why they felt ), they could have developed better in that part,

It's so heartbreaking.😭😭😭

are you for real?how is the story is disgust?when all the characters gave up their lives to protect their country,do you how it is important for Chinese people in that era,they all put Thier notion first before anything, do you know the first pilot people in china was in that era and all of them (over200 pilot) gave up their lives to protect Thier country(not one of them survived), just like what all the characters did in this drama,he chose this role way better than any other role he ever chosen before.

I'm beyond happy to be honest that he chose this drama and this script,it really showcased his acting , even though it was a tragedy ending 😭😭😔

It was refreshing and commendable to see them step completely out of their comfort zones, take a risk on a new genre, and show a different, more mature side of themselves. Their performances leveled up significantly—with ZLH standing out in particular—proving that this was a strategic and artistically rewarding career move.
