Jue residence already looks like a harem.the wife and concubine are being mean to each other.
ziyu is fine when he is with yws but when he interacts with shangjue he is so annoying.we as audience know thay sj is right for being suspicious but zy doesn't have the information we have and it's frustrating.all of the Gong men are soft inside.SGQ will definitely succeed if she has time to interact with sj more.she is also such a good story teller just like yws.they both tell truth and lies at the same time.it's hard to know what is truth and what is a lie.
Does SGQ think that wuji is a chi too?she just sold her to save herself quickly.if she has a higher status shouldn't sgq sacrifice herself.
SJ won't leave yws alone.he is suspecting her and omg the look he gave Zy🤣

Exactly my thoughts.i think they are trying to keep the aidience engaged with countless twists and mysteries surrounding the characters ,beautiful cinematography and cast.but i think the story is lacking.it doesn,t have depth.

Shangjue was such a gentle and kind kid.i think he is still soft inside.he had such a loving family.
I think yuanzhi is an orphan from zhi lineage that jue took in after his brother died.
I saw comments that shangjue bullied zy when he was a kid,but if i remember correctly it was yuanzhi bullying him the kids were the same age,while shangjue was atleast 10 years older.

I want to see WeiShan and Shangjue couple,a very dangerous power couple.
Weishan and yuanzhi can make poison together and bicker all the time.

Every scene in this series is beautifull but in some scenes i think the actors are not acting , they are just posing for the camera like models to get pretty shots. Wanting every single shot in the series to be beautiful has affected it a bit negatively tbh.
