Not at all ..whenever I watch a manga - live action adaptation.. I often feel unsatisfied cause japanese actors commonly fail to deliver the layers of original characters in manga ( or animes). You were totally spot-on.

Ikr ! Open endings suck .. I mean they could've just wrapped the entire thing after battle between gongs and the sect .. but Noooooo!!! they deliberately put this segment in the end. 😏

And ZLH was best in kunning palace no doubt about it. yet to watch ' the best thing' to see his work in the modern setting. 🤔
