I read your comment before watching the 8th episode and now i couldn't shake off this feeling. Gao ming does seem shady because he keeps asking about all the details, and because Zhang Hai trusts him, he spills all the beans to him. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be a villian.

Just finished rewatching it. Knowing what the outcome would be didn't help with the heartache. I absolutely love loveeee this drama to death. Only after rewatching did i realize, why it was my comfort drama. Ha yi chan-the love of my life. The way i cried again when he lost his hearing 😭 how i would've loved if we had an special episode where they showed yi chan and chung ah's life after eun gyeol left. They studied together but we didn't even get a glimse. I wish they had explained a bit about how both of them ended up together after chung ah left with her father or how they were able to study together in the USA.
