would ML fall in love with the emotionally distant Snow Fairy, if those 8 long years weren't given to him?...........was the Snow Fairy withholding the truth for so long, because she wasn't sure of the catastrophic, self-destructive reaction on the part of ML and Moer's Mom?.......she gave them false hope, to give them the incentive to continue living, that dumb nut ZhanBai wouldn't relent searching for herbs at the cost of his health and life............that was the risk, the Fairy Healer had to take: ..... unless ZhanBai dies of grief here and now, or his luck will carry him through the 8 years of searching

they're both loving each other, ML is showing it, because he trusts that FL is honest with him... this 'romance' isn't built on honesty on the part of FL, and ML didn't provide her the security, that he was able to accept the truth without harming himself, so to save him, she can't be stark honest 😉

she informed him not only once , that the prescription may not work, and he knows that .....he trusts her by now, he knows she can heal him each time he returns dying, and he knows that, when she says 'it'll not work '- that means that the prescription will not work, but he wanted to give it all, to have clear conscience...........in the very beginning, he wasn't able to accept it, and would have died of grief , if she didn't give him that hope.....she did the right thing
