ah, well π.... to me, I would feel insulted if someone I cared about, unknowingly to me - performed on me some kind of ritual..... and then hypnotized me ππππ and after some years, miraculously my hypnotized memories would return......?.πππ
I have not cried as heartbrokenly as I have when Xiang Liu died... what a beautiful person. How great that they…
XiangLiu performed on her, his final hypnotherapy session, where he sealed or removed her memories of him π€, ... that's his arbitrary action, done without her consent, so she's not to blame π there's sth in psychology called selective memory, specially with people experiencing traumas,..... still , XiangLiu went too far here, even if he sacrificed so much for her happiness........
XiangLiu was a charming, but lonely ghost from the beginning, making arbitrary choices..... these kind of cdrama characters often bear a mark of transcendence and one has to let them be and let go of them......
If TSJ was the male lead, then nobody would question all the tropes TH used to show clearly, he is Xiaoyao's one…
geez π³ XiangLiu's hair is always white, is it because he's old, or his sorrows are too many?.... surprisingly he dyed them as Bei... and sometimes got them black when he was with XiaoYao?.... like, she gave him new life?
XiaoYao's heart is firmly fixed on TuShan Jing from the beginning.... she's just discovering what he really means…
I know.... TushanJin's character is rare and hard to grasp...... it's probably true that he was a rich and spoiled kid, although very talented.....in one of the early conversations he said, that he wasn't aware how many assets he owned..... that's odd to say for a businessman, even a tycoon..... so, his falling off a pedestal, was the beginning of his growth into this unique man
On a metaphorical level, their relationships / ending are explained by the crystal ball too. XY and Jing are going…
haha π.... this story is good and psychologically, well developed, it'll be talked about ππ even if it's just a xianxia, it touches on behavioural issues
If TSJ was the male lead, then nobody would question all the tropes TH used to show clearly, he is Xiaoyao's one…
thank you π· much appreciated..... I refuse to read the novel, and following rather closely the drama development, I always had an impression, that XiaoYao's heart choice was TSJ.....
On a metaphorical level, their relationships / ending are explained by the crystal ball too. XY and Jing are going…
so confusing π€ the producers created this confusion on purpose, I guess, to keep people guessing who XiaoYao really loved....so many nasty, unnecessary net-wars would have been avoided, too.....
if XiaoYao truly deeply loved XiangLiu, but feared to admit it - who was TuShan Jing then....a handy substitute?.....in s1, whenever she gets hurt and scared by XL, it's TSJ who serves as a healing balm and comfort blanket.......
Tushan Jing is a controversial character. Although he had suffered a lot as well in his pursuit of XY but compared…
. he couldn't say anything to reigning grandma, for fear of causing her heart attack, just like his insistence on rejecting YiYing caused grandma's illness..... his refusal to take on TuShan government responsibilities caused her illness also.....he, being a family oriented man, couldn't allow himself to become a cause of his grandma's death, in order to build his own family with XiaoYao.......it would be like killing one family member in favour of another would-be family member......
I must rewatch those details again.....
