FL loves him as a brother, their story is that of a rare and perfect siblings' ❤️ bond of love...it's pure, faithful forever, each of the siblings is totally ready and willing to sacrifice everything, so the other one is safe and happy.....very rare to meet siblings like that in rl

there are so many layers to this amazing story, your reflection on XiangLiu reminded me of his fierce fiery anger outburst, which he's apparently not able to control.... I wonder if they are not the frustration of his realisation of making a wrong choice, rather than his loyalty..... that 'choice' shackles him from fully pursuing his newly discovered great love of his life - XiaoYao....

Cang Xuan is a perfect brother model 🍀 they are cousins, but they share a most beautiful and rare sibling bond 🍀 while XiaoYao has a pure sisterly affection for CX, his is coloured with some romantic feelings, but the unadulterated base of their sacrificial loving dedication to one another, is the sibling bond🍀 even if CX didn't develop romantic feelings towards XY, he is always able to lay down his own life and safety for his beloved sister-cousin XiaoYao

this movie is very well composed 🍀 I wonder how long it took for it's producers to concoct it and put together, I mean - without the actors 🍀 but to put together the whole idea, develope it.... it's perfect in detail ....... she lures him/and feifei - but then TushanJing picks it up, she heals TJ with this song, while he plays the qin....then he gives her a slightly reversed poem.....

it is set from the start... they play different songs and melodies for different suitors and scenes... words of the song played for TushanJing is encouraging and hopeful for their future, but the words and melody for the song played for XiangLiu/FFB scenes is eery, without giving him any hope for a prosperous future.... even final words:' it's the end ' are foreboding

right, I'm curious how he's going to further develop in s2🙂 right now,in the middle of rewatching s1- I pity him.... he's not a husband material at all, even as he experiences profound love awakening

haha, i'm rewatching it and reached the moment of her transformation on Jade Mt....her return home and meeting with her father was tearjerker for me 🍀

are you serious, u want to skip such a good show?... the only fillers are repetitive flashbacks to the past

whoa 😳.... good luck 🍀LYF is too big a rollercoaster to watch it only once and understand the development of characters.... one might be swayed by emotions and miss the cool savoring of the story 🍀

last year, I didn't like XiangLiu at all.... but now, as I rewatch this series at leisure, peacefully- this character is growing on me 🍀 how he grows in love , the development of this character is fascinating

ML is not only face blind but also blind to building up positive relationships, he's at odds with his whole family.. he tries to be 'good", but with his basic trust issues, he only distances others from himself and makes enemies...the way he thoughtlessly treated FL in the first episodes, which causes her problems even now, and will continue to be problematic in coming episodes....this is a problematic ML character...face blindness blinds him to be sincere towards others, he always hides from his sister, causing misunderstandings, and afterwards barks at her...just hear his words and tone of voice towards the girl..he also was hurtful to his date

pleasant enough ☘️I would consider it a nice time filler ☘️LYF 2 is coming up in a few days, so I'm keeping this on hold now, to refresh my memory with LYF 1

she has a brother who doesn't appreciate her at all... not even once he expressed any satisfaction of her.,. good for her she's independent and fights her way to freedom,otherwise this kind of a brother would destroy her with his negativity
