LOL, I wonder Liang Yong Qi going to be a villian/antagonist again. I donโt blame the producer waiting for WJY…
I was wondering the same thing too. You know, when some actor has done a good job in certain roles, they receive similar roles. Maybe it's like that. Also, he has that serious/stern looking face, so I am kinda happy that he is getting roles that suit him. I saw him for the first time in Perfect Match. Omg, I loved him there. He was not an antagonist but one of the main characters. His character was a stern & upright person, and he did it well without making the character boring.
WJY was in maternity? I didn't know that. Wow! Congrats to her๐ I love her acting. She has those subtle expressions that convey a lot more than dialogues.
WELL WELL WELL... I am left with dried up tears and a heartache. Phenomenal acting. Not only their faces but also their body language is so expressive. It amplifies the scene's emotions so well that I couldn't even breathe. How will I survive till next Sat?
Lmao๐๐ the producer of this show directed The Double. He is not letting Wu Jin Yan get away from Liang Yong Qi lol. Anyway they both are amazing actors. Adding CZY too is top tier casting. I also noticed Kuang Yu Ting. Maaan! Where are my fellow 'The Double' fans? Is this a reunion for us!!??
Or maybe symbolism and metaphors take time and the longer the time takes, the more the audience can feel the characters…
Ohhh yesss. A god who preaches love and acceptance would never do such a thing. It's so disgusting that they can only see love as a result of evil, and lovers as sinners.
I would say most of the religious "beliefs & customs" are just man-made illusory restrictions in the name of God. You can be non-religious and still believe in God. You can be yourself, and God will still accept you and love you. But these "believers"? They won't! They don't follow what they preach.
Oh come on...if the series left them alone, happy, and in love, you'd be bored. It's that fear of what might happen…
I didn't download anything. I am using mdl (website) on my laptop. Press Windows + " . " it will open emojis. I am using that. I noticed that some emojis aren't working (most of them work). I don't know if emojis aren't supported in the app.

Yup, it's a little bit all over the place. The idea was great, you get the symbolism, but then the execution wasn't good.
I can't even process the thought of Barth being Rak's God. It doesn't make sense. All those different symbolisms together made it messy.
Some fan theories say that he is a God's test for Tanrank's faith. Others just simply say that Barth is God's gift to Rak for his continuous faith all these years. Anyway, we will see what happens at the end.

What you said about the reference to Apple and the Creation of Adam. The shot of Michelangelo painting was unnecessary. It was like forcing everyone to realise the "art". Even without that, that finger-touching scene was beautiful. The Apple scene raised many questions, too. Is this foreshadowing? Then I watched it again and was like, maybe it's a coincidence? Like, the director didn't put much meaning into this? But then also, Apple has such significance, to not mean anything.

Yeahhh, "happy ending" for the sake of it doesn't really interest me too. Like I said earlier, even though I hope for an HEA, if a sad ending makes more sense, then sad ending it is. I do have a few happy endings that I've watched, where a sad ending would have made more sense. Anyways, back to TTH, whatever happens in the next 2 episodes, I know I'll love it. Hopefully, we will talk then :)
Also, "Great Immortal One" lmao pls don't haha... Call me Susan. Now that you mention it, I realised that I haven't mentioned my name here. Tnx

I don't actually find happy endings annoying, I love when things work out! Interesting that Hollywood & Asian dramas shaped that for you though, I've never thought about it that way. For me dramas are more of an escape, not really watching for realism, so honestly any ending works for me, sad or happy. I don't have an issue with realistic endings at all. I was just HOPING for a happy one this time, which I don't think is wrong ๐
Also, I know, it's a lot to process. Not everyone gets this chance to correspond with an immortal. Treasure it! ๐๐ซถ

True. The fear of what might happen adds interest. But when I said "leave them alone," I meant a happy ending. Of course, there will be issues when the church discovers their relationship, leading to many problems. So, what I was hoping was that those problems wouldn't be strong enough to separate them.
Just completed ep 4 This was soooo beautiful. The visuals, the story, their moments together, THE ACTING!!! I can't. I don't think I'll survive the last 2 eps. The preview is scaring me. I would like to think that this is the end, that's it, they lived happily ever after. LEAVE THEM ALOOOONEEE LET THEM BE HAPPY IN LOVE PLSSS
