The novel might disappoint you if you want it to focus on the mystery of the revenge plot. The novel's main focus is White and Sean, the actual 'revenge' takes a back seat.

If I had to guess, Keita Hatsukoi and Charry Magic are recommeneded because they're also Japanese BL shows. Light On Me, maybe becuase both centre around socially awkward characters? They really have nothing in common though lol
