Btw, I am reading HoB these two days…and the more I read, the more worried I am for the drama. The whole parts…
*crying nonstop* You get me! *continues crying* I didn't wanna say anything about that because of all the hate going around - I am still a die hard fan of HOB/TGCF and want the LA to come out as beautiful as the directors can make it. But its quite obvious that they're not even trying... Idc about the white, JUST LOOK AT HOW PLAIN EVERYONES COSTUMES ARE :"( - they do not look like gods! they look like normal cultivators, no no no, not even cultivators dress that plain *Bawling nonstop* Idk what the production team is thinking - im just gonna say it straight - this production team is not right at all for the filming of Eternal Faith... Its like they're just filming based on their thoughts and what they think is good, they're disregarding what fans are asking for, which is so not good. And i heard from many people that those first photos of the LA filming day were not, I repeat NOT, testing the cameras... they were the actual costumes... fans were outraged which is why they had to quickly do something about it.

Yes omg Yes, we have someone else who understands too! thank you thank you! At this point, I'm thinking that the LA will most likely turn out similar to The Unturned in terms of CGIs . Kinda super disappointed in the costumes, accessories, makeup and what not. I vented a bit on the Eternal Faith page about it, but I still feel super frustrated... I was so looking forward to the LA, but now im not really looking forward to it at all unless the production team actually starts using their brains and picks up their stupidity, along with their game to make this LA beautiful asf. I am so damn worried..... really want this to come out good :"(

I just come across some rumours from this twitter channel i follow, who is not really as reliable as dramapotatoe…
This is the same post i was worried about this morning, but now my twitter is overflowing with people dissing this melon. This account is the only account who has posted something like this, there has been no other senseless rumors except from this account, and its clearly targeting HYX - like why is SPL gonna be reviewed and turned into a brotherhood drama but HYX (super popular danmei) is gonna lean more towards BG? Totally does not make any sense.
If you like the production team (excluding the cast) at the moment, (maybe my views will change in the future)…
Is it just me or the costumes of Shi Wudu and Pei Ming swapped XD - Shi Wudu's costume looks like something Pei Ming should be wearing and Pei Mings costume looks like something Shi Wudu would wear XD p.s. our Pei Ming & Hua Chengzu deserve a better costume (just my opinion) - I really hope they improve the quality of the costumes, hair & accessories (everyone seems to have the same side cut + bangs hairstyle)... The cast is amazingly beautiful - just that the production team do not know how to bring out the best qualities in the cast members - I really hope they're not just relying on the cast's acting skills... Production seems poor poor, correct me if I am wrong but isn't this supposed to be an S+ project? I'm looking forward to seeing the 4 Ghost Kings true forms - really hoping the production will give them those ghostly costumes, accessories, hair & makeup that screams death. Because they honestly did not do very well with the costumes for the Gods... tbh the LA cast's costumes and what not at the moment (hopefully improved in the future) are looking more like what cultivators would wear & what demon masters would be wearing. They have no excuse for the costumes being that way, I realise that some members left the team with little to no notice but the director should have waited until they found someone and taken their time going over the costumes and accessories and deciding the makeup, special effects, wigs etc... but it seems they rushed into filming and caused a lot of issues. In a way, the production team members and the way they’re handling costumes etc. seems very tacky. I know i am not the only one thinking this way at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I love the cast and they all fit very well into their roles but i am not fond of the production team at all. And don't come at me with the "you should be glad you're getting an adaption" stuff because if the company behind the adaption and the production team do not want to take their time to make sure this drama comes out amazingly beautiful - then i am sorry to say but i am very satisfied with the manhua and donghua. If anyone has noticed, expectations for the LA are very very high worldwide, especially how many xianxia dramas have blown up due to their costumes and stuff. *crying internally* I try not to compare and all but if Tencent had taken up this production... how beautiful would the costumes & headpieces be :"( ... sorry for the rant guys! This is just making me feel so sad that our favourite Danmei novel won't come out well or as beautiful as we expect it to be... and trust I have seen many chinese xianxia dramas with such amazing accessories, hairstyles etc that also have a low budget - They better be keeping all that money for the CGIs, i wont complain about the costumes then - if they donot put their money into the CGIs idek why they would take up this project in the first place. They better go all out on He Xuans & Qi Rongs true form outfits... End of rant for now XD (no hate guys, just my opinion)
