I went and looked at the character web connections and it does look like XiaoBai has an interesting one so for sure he’s special too. And for SiJing—I was suspicious of her when they were asked to sign the scroll and she didn’t until that general gave her a slight nod, closing his eyes, almost like a signal to go ahead and sign (I thought he was just taunting her but who knows now). That general is ded already and he was a spy from the King so maybe SiJing works for the King?

I thought it was LiLun protecting him cuz it showed a bunch of leaves under him when he moved away after the attack and ZhuYan seemed surprised. And LiLun is a tree demon.

I think it’s ZhuYan cuz in ep 6 LiLun mentions that he saw where it went and that WenXiao should’ve saw it in her dream. Then it shows a flash back of the light going to her forehead while another light went to someone standing on the cliff to the upper left of the screen. Bet LiLun’s pointing and saying you have it to WenXiao was meant for her and ZhuYan who was standing next to her.

Made an account just to comment. 😆 Loving the drama so far! The chemistry between ZhuYan and WenXiao, ZhuYan and ZhuoYichen, WenXiao and SiJing! And then XiaoBai with most of the others lol 🤍 He’s so adorable! ZhuYan prob won’t ever win him over lol XiaoBai’s love for his hero ZhuoDaGe and PeiJieJie is too strong.
