I agree with several other comments about certain issues with Mi Yu and Ji Feng's relationship, so I won't go over those.
The one MAJOR annoyance for me is that Mi Yu NEVER lets Ji Feng explain himself. She constantly assumes the worst, cuts him off and refuses to allow him to give his side of the story.
Just once, I would love for him to raise his voice and say "WILL YOU LET ME FINISH WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY???????"
tae is getting married but he's not leaving the series. he even did the final fitting for his character
So this changed?
"Tae also announced that he will be dropping out of his upcoming BL drama Police in Love due to scheduling conflicts with his wedding. During a live on X (formerly Twitter), he told fans that the wedding’s timing would overlap with the series’ production, and as such, he decided to withdraw from the role of Saming."
I anticipate that, once an actor signs their rights away re: the use of their image / voice for AI projects, the studios are going to start using that agreement as an excuse to pay the actors less.
"You signed an agreement to let us use your likeness. Our studio has decided to move away from majority live-action productions to more AI productions. Therefore, we feel we should not have to pay you as much, since you won't be performing live."
I have been enjoying this series, but GEEZ......episodes 21 and 22 gave me whiplash. I'm kinda lost now.
EDIT: I just watched ep 23 and it feels like I'm on a speeding train with no brakes.
After the slow but interesting character- and story- building in earlier episodes, these last few have been moving so fast it's unreal. It almost feels like different people wrote different parts of the script.
There are still 17 episodes to go, and I HOPE it's not going to continue feeling so rushed and out of control.
I love the CP like a lot, there's no doubt that Santa was tired from the shooting. Play with one or two children,…
I know the series was filmed over the last several months, but I think the fact that Santa's group, Jasp.er, has been ramping up their promotions and performances probably added to his tiredness. He and the other members are juggling their group stuff with their acting stuff. Probably not an easy thing to do.
The pilot video is almost 9 minutes long and tells WAY too much of the story. It should only be about 3 minutes long at most, if they're going to save anything for the actual series.
While slow and a little shaky on the acting, I initially liked this series.
But as the episodes have gone on, I have become more annoyed and even angry.

And then when your father is violently killed by Lee Seri (by accident because she was originally targeting your boyfriend), WHY would you allow your boyfriend to feel like your father's death was somehow HIS fault???
Newsflash: Your father's death was YOUR fault because you never reported the stalking.
-- You could have prevented your father's death. -- You could have prevented Haneul's distress and misplaced guilt. -- You could have prevented your breakup with Haneul. -- You could have prevented Jeonghan (Lee Seri's brother, who is just as mentally ill as his sister) from attempting to kill Haneul by deliberately running him over with a car -- You could have prevented Haneul's memory loss. -- You could have prevented BOTH of your subsequent emotional breakdowns when Haneul discovered the letters the second time and disappeared for a while.
------------------------------
Other things that just pissed me off:
- Crappy, illogical script - since we see Lee Seri in jail after she murdered Saebyeok's father, her trial for the murder SHOULD HAVE included testimony that she had been stalking Saebyeok, and those red envelopes SHOULD HAVE been turned over to the police as evidence.
Yet we see they are still in a box in Saebyeok's apartment. We also see that Lee Seri is STILL writing threatening messages with red envelopes while she's in prison. And now she's mailing them to Haneul. BAD WRITING.
-- Once Haneul found those red envelopes the second time (he had already seen them before his memory-loss accident and the discovery of them that first time had caused his breakup with Saebyeok), he SHOULD HAVE felt very angry at Saebyeok. Not because Saebyeok had been "protecting him" when he should have instead been opening up about the stalking/letters ........but rather, Haneul should have realized all of the things that Saebyeok COULD HAVE prevented, and he should have been FURIOUS to realize Saebyeok let him feel guilty when NONE of that was ever his fault. More BAD WRITING.
-- @12:50 in Ep 8, Saebyeok says "Haneul, I wish everything about you could be my fault, so you'd never blame yourself." Ummmmmm......WTF?? It IS your fault, dumbass. NOT Haneul's.
-- Ep 8 - The crappy writing, directing and acting in the hospital reunion scene. The wooden, emotionless response of Saebyeok when Haneul walked into his hospital room after being missing for a whole month was HUGELY disappointing. Instead of hugging - the most logical and affirming physical action to take in that situation - his immediate (and emotionally dead) first action is to French kiss Haneul as if they're about to have sex. That scene should have been written as showing them hug for a while, maybe even cry......and THEN if a kiss was going to happen, it should have happened after the hug. But honestly, none of it mattered because of the awful acting from Lee Ja Woon (Saebyeok).
I never got the feeling they were a real "pairing" anyway.
They just happened to be paired for Kinnporsche (in a rather chaste way, since Code was only 16/17 years old during filming and Jeff is 10 years older than Code).

In case some of you didn't know it, Chance is also a singer / songwriter. He has his own channel on YT, and his stuff is really good.
Check this one out.

NO RELEASE until the actors are paid.

It seems to be an upcoming series?
But 5 years ago the same two actors did a movie with the same story line. It even had the same title.
So.....is this new "series" just the original movie, but sliced up into episodes?
Or are the same two actors actually going to be in an entirely new series but with the same exact story and same title?
