I can say han yan has the traits of qsck' fl but Fu Yunxi is definitely not QSCK's type ml to me ,even i will label the glory as an original script of the screenwriter not an adaptation except their names .
As i said before it was the author's first written novel and the writing is least popular compared to her other works so it's understandable why they changed it .But i don't think that they are gonna do the same thing with this one by changing ml's character set up because then it will be similar plot and there will be a big mess on weibo.Even a single melon causes huge war on weibo .

Yes it's same author .Also upcoming drama legend of the female general is adapted from the author's another famous novel .but The glory is more likely inspired from the novel instead of an adaptation

The glory should be said is inspire from the novel instead of an adaptation. The character names and some of their characteristics are same but the plot has many differences .They did well till now but personally i didn't like them making the ml as the fl's bro-in-law .The ml's first wife was fl's sister ,they had a daughter .I watched many stories of single dad or single mom trope. But I am not comfortable in watching bro-in-law turned husband trope or sis-in-law turned wife unless their first husband/wife was evil .That's why i couldn't continue watching it.😔

So they should better not to change character setup in this adaptation .Also the rebirth trope is different than the double and LOTFG because here the fl will return to the past.

But personally i hope them to fix the age in the drama.I don't want them to change Ji Chengyang's age but i hope they will increase Jiyi's age when the confession happened .because that part can create controversy.
