As everyone turns against Kareena and Vespa, Oh Chang Min, a brilliant attorney for SK’a biggest law firm, takes her case pro bono, even though the senior partners are against it. Oh Chang Min graduated at the top of his class at Seoul National Law School and also got degree at Harvard Law School. He’s also a massive Vespa stan and his ult bias is Kareena. He tells Kareena he’s a fan and Kareena is reticent but ultimately agrees to have him represent her.
Ofc kareena and Oh Chang Min fall in love and he proves her innocence. He reveals that the real murderer was Gang DP himself, who killed his own group’s leader coz he was obsessed with her and asked her to marry him but she said no way since Gang DP is creepy and massively overweight, and he killed her out of jealous rage. Gang DP is convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. The evil prosecutor is disbarred and also lands in prison. Kareena and Vespa become even more popular and she and Oh Chang Min get together and the show ends with kareena proposing to Oh Chang Min at the Vespa concert! The End

the most unrealistic thing in the drama is se na turning down free merch and vip concert tickets!! i’m a kpop fan and if karina of aespa was my gf, I’d get mad if she didn’t get me front row floor seats and free exclusive merch every time!! haha
A great series, solid 10/10 until about episode 8 or 9 and then, what happened? The finale was a bit underwhelming…

My rating for Idol I:The love story/KPop stuff -8.5. The legal/murder criminal investigation story- 0.0 (honestly the worst murder mystery/legal suspense story EVER coz none of it made sense) Still enjoyed it but istg the writer needed to consult with a lawyer and criminologist when she wrote it. The fact that the killer is revealed in the 2nd to last ep not the last shows the writers really didn’t care about murder mystery part, it was more about the love story and about kpop culture.
