he is just trying to survive...He would leave his position if he could
The only way for him to stay alive right now is to stay the emperor, even if he is just a puppet. Prior to the imperial grandson being known to be alive there was no one who could replace him (and so he stayed alive), but now that they know he is alive it means there's a possibility he can be killed and replaced at any moment
This may come true, especially since episodes get released in the late evening for me.
It must be nice to wake up knowing an episode has been released, instead of watching the time tick down and wait the whole day for a new episode like me.
I don't know why I feel that leads of this drama are creepy and with no empathy . The mother had a serious accident…
I don't recall him ever lying, he just said he did music, he didn't say that was all he did, nor did he say he was jobless or broke. The FL only assumed those things and didn't ask any questions. like you said though, his action do feel a bit creepy. he was acting as if he already knew her even though they are complete strangers, and I agree with you on the FL's fathers' storyline, I'm not liking where its headed, it feels icky to me.

This drama is a really good showcase of a healthy and cute relationship that has been put in an unfavourable position by life. I hope their marriage stays strong throughout the rest of the drama.
Just watched ep 18, I'm enjoying this drama. So far there hasn't been any superficial conflicts or absurd and unrealistic scenarios, which I appreciate. Everything feels grounded to reality. I'm loving how the story shows them going through hardships while still supporting each other instead of casting blame on one another like how some other dramas do.
Ep 10 and ep 11 both felt like a conclusion to the story in thier own way, ep12 lost any potential impact it could have had because of that. They were showing us different scenes but it felt a bit like the last few episodes were repeating themselves. I still enjoyed them, i just wish they gave us more aspects of the story.
I love how they've given everyone a chunck of backstory and personal character development while keeping it interesting and maintaining the great pacing it has so far. I wonder how they'll address the conflict Ren Jia Tong has with Bai Xiao when there's only 6 eps left and other storylines to still tell. Its making me anxious and excited to see how everything unfolds.
Weird to say but it was too much of a happy ending for me. especially when they showed his ex being back in his…
Yeah that was my bad, I guess I didnt recognise her right away because she wasnt dressed in her usual type of clothes. Glad someome pointed it out to me. I may or may not have fast forwarded the ending a bit hahaha

This is my stopping point though. I'm going to let some eps pile up before i continue watching. The story is getting too good to watch only 1 ep a day
