Based on the synopsis and the trailer, it’s rather cold, unlike the novel where it started with respect. Hopefully, it will change quickly.

I’ve often posted about how I hope they keep their relationship like in the novel and don’t fall into the cliché of the same hate/love arranged marriage. From the very beginning they respected each other, then they became friends and finally lovers.

When reading the novel, I could easily imagine Cheng Lei and Bai Lu as the main characters. Both are a perfect choice as leads.
