What is it about Chinese writers and Directors feeling they need to do a 40 episode drama? What the actual fuck! Who needs a drama at 40 episodes? As lovely and cute as this drama currently is at 13 episodes (just watched), I feel it's going to get seriously boring and irritating. The Chinese adore misunderstandings because hey, no one actually ever communicates in a relationship in a Chinese drama. Thankfully, and oh my God I'm so thankful we don't have the intrusive parent trope, well we do, but not to the usual extent. But honestly, where is this drama heading with 40 bloody episodes?

Erm, think you need to go back and re-read all the comments. More like 90% and why is it not something to be proud. Being gay is a wonderful thing and something to be very proud about. Love is love, irrespective of where it comes from.

I've also tried to convert my friends and they think I've lost the plot. I'm a massive BL fan, have probably watched everything that's out there, which again, my friends find totally weird, but I so bloody love it and will never comprise in this regard for anyone, better than terrible British reality TV which I despise. I really enjoy reading your analogies of this series - so in line with my thinking and perspective. Ooh, good final question - love your thinking? Hmmm... I think both can work in harmony. Algorithm to match characteristics, however, she tells them ultimately is all about what you feel in your heart. That would be my ideal scenario.

I really like both Ouwen and Mark's personalities, probably more so Mark as I've seen his character grow so fearlessly. It's lovely to see a personality which was originally perceived as straight, wholly embracing and willing to take the lead in their relationship to make Ouwen feel secure. I love this about him.

I too have faith in Yan Fei. Whereas in her marriage she relied on her husband for literally everything, now she's found the strength to stand on her own too feet through many hardships. I'm in no doubt the writers want to portray her journey in the drama as an independent woman enjoying her new chapter in life.

#Snigger. So right on the algorithm test with Mark and Ouwen. Me thinks it would pertain to -1% , with a message to not even go there! However, they both haven't denied what they're feeling. Curiosity. Unexplained excitement. Heart flutters - oh how I love heart flutters! That desire to touch. I'm seriously impressed with Mark. He's shown a real protective instinct towards Ouwen from the outset, when he was overseeing that date and the man was rude and later in the gym with his ex. His jealousy also speaks volumes. For me, Ouwen is the mature deep-thinker, which I love, he already knows how he feels about Mark and doesn't want to be hurt or for both to have regrets.

It's that damn FL that bugs the hell out of me, how can you be the CEO of a dating agency, 30+ with life experiences and base love on algorithms?! Really? I think it's down to wanting to protect her heart because it was broken with the ex. However, me thinks she's also fearful of entering into a relationship with ML because of his age (thankfully, we Brits so don't have this stigma) and the nurturing, protective brother side her brain has put him into, means she's struggling to let go.

An excellent random thought though. Makes eloquent sense to my English brain. I was thinking the exact same thing with the female lead when she did the algorithm compatibility test against the ex and ML and he was at 29%. Although, have to admit that it pissed me off that a 30+ woman, previously married can't see that love is never about algorithms.

Hometown’s Embrace is utter shite, but at least it started and ended as utter shite. Top Secret descended into utter shite. I raise you - Worth the Wait is worse. Definitely not worth the weekly wait - totally unwatchable!

Looks to me like ep 13 was indeed the FINALE, as wrapped the story up between the exes pretty nicely wouldn't you say? Not a whiff of a SPECIAL one off episode in sight! Suggest you may need to re-think believing everything you read on those 'official sites'.
