Must be because placing the cloth would need the coroner's to remove it to examine those areas, but the curtains will be fine with just moving it a bit without needing to remove completely. Also you know, the curtains are much better in camera that even if you move a bit to examine it won't be captured on camera but a cloth even neatly placed will give away the shape or whatever lol
