I've only seen 3 episode and I can tell that this drama is very promising. Great potential (okay, fine, I love it)

You're welcome. Skip Beat is just so funny and the story is great too...too bad there is no season2 for the anime. (spoiler alert) my favorite part so far is when Kyoko meets Ren's father without knowing who he is and works for him as a LoveMe, and then he ask her to try to play the part of...his son! But she still dosn't know who that is, but when she hear the description, she find herself becoming...Corn!

Yeah, Skip Beat is gonna take a while. I think that the manga won't stop until :
1 Kyoko manages to get through her "loveMe" problems,
2 she acccepts her feelings for Ren,
3 she's with Ren,
4 we knows everything about Ren,
5 Kyoko acts with Ren as a co-star like equals.
6 the problem with Shou (spoiler=who has yet to find out he actually loves her) is solved.
None of those are even close to happen.
For now Kyoko is growing as a woman and an actress, Ren is confronted to his dark past and sinks into his dependance to kyoko who is starting to become his very own subshine. Oh, and of course, Bo's AND Corn's identity remain hidden^^
As for Shou...he's jalous.

I love Glass Mask(started in 75, still not finished), and rated 9 the drama for santimentalism because...well the manga and 89's anime were introduction to japan.
You see how sometimes they use acting as an excuse for romance in dramas?in Glass Mask, that NOT the case : it is really about 12years old finding out she loves acting and a former great actress who sees the genius in her and decides to train her to bring her up to perfection in acting in order to give her the main part of a legendary stage-play. And you have this cold blooded producer finding himself admiring the passion and freedom of this young girl 11years younger than him (who hates him) and eventually...^^
The drama is old (1995, a little too much soap opera for me) but it's because I loved the story that I managed to survive...
there is a 2005 anime with 51 episodes. Rather than the drama, I recommend you the anime.
well, we are starting to learn more of Ren's past, but Kyokyo still doesn't know he's Corn. (did you read any of the manga or did you just watch the anime? Don't want to give you any spoiler...).

Hope you'll get well soon !
As for me, I've just completed Oh my Lady (wanted to feed my addiction by checking out Siwon's acting because I wasn't sure he would be able to pull off Tsuruga Ren.)^^

I'm good. Now I know why I had to wait for Skip Beat06. I was scared it had something to do with that awful shutdown Uncle Sam imposed us...but no : it was just Chinese New Year, so there was no drama broacast that week...have to wait for next sunday-ish. Oh, and I'm so happy to watch Eita in his new drama co-starring MatsuJun !
And you, how are you doing?
I watched Ep01 yesterday evening too...and...how do I put it...You have a good situation, some of the best male-J-actors-in-their-late-twenties (eita being my N°1 actor)and you have...two hotties (eita and MatsuJun) fighting shirtless for about half of this episode....Personnally I call that awesome.
I'll just add that once again, Eita seems to have created a whole new character for our enjoyment, a character that makes us forget he's eita, like he did in Hara-kiri or Soredemo, Ikite Yuku. And to me that's just how you differenciate a great actor from an excellent and one.
