What you are describing is literally every other so called female leads in other stories, be them brave or the so called non-fighting female lead types. The only difference here is that the two of you don't like her in general..

Heard and seen some clips of Fang of Fortune*Right* and heard it good but a sucky ending..

She doesn't matter a bit..None of the females do eXcept for maybe A-Shui and whatshername, the one that's with the main male lead group besides A-Shui..

Technically speaking, it's A-Shui character. She's the one paired with Main Male Lead and not the others.

I truly believe a true and tried fan/viewers won't care a bit about how much money is spent on this or that or whatever level a drama is rated..If one likes his/her actor's drama, they won't care..I know I won't..If I dislike a Actor/Actress and a drama is supposedly rated whatever China's drama's rating system is, they'd also won't care and bash it to death..That's just human nature..The evils of one's mind. Sad but true.. The fact that you have to say what you said above is proof enough that some individuals are shit..lol..

If this drama is considered "low-budget," I don't know what you consider a high budget drama looks like...I have one word for you; Seriously!?!?!? lol..
