This is so funny! LOL! I loved this telenovela as a kid :) Before I started watching dramas, I was actually very addicted to telenovelas, and then started watching dramas which are way shorter and much better.
Really nice version! Very straightforward without dragging. When I watched the Korean version back then, I thought it was too long. The pace in the Japanese is prefect and that makes the story more interesting.
I loved how the main couple are so supportive of each other, but I also wanted to see their family growing, especially after the time skip. Anyway, this drama is impressive! I really liked it a lot and I absolutely loved the cast! Yang Yang is so handsome, but not only that, he's a great actor too!
Kinda difficult to explain why they broke up because so many things happened. But what triggered the break up…
Your explanation is so much better and much more logical than what was shown in the drama. Too bad they didn't elaborate on this issue well enough, even after three years. When I saw those episodes, I wasn't even sure they really love each other. Thank you for the answer!

Yeah, I saw that but I feel like there's something missing, still not clear enough to me... just for those reasons? And why is it his fault she didn't see her father before he died? What is this logic? When they broke up, she really hated him. And then coming back together like nothing? I mean, nothing really changed in those years (expect, the ML got his sight back, which is a good thing, but could happen even without a breakup).
I fell in love with drama. It doesn't rely on famous cast, grandiose production or huge publicity. And it's actually so simple, yet so charming. I love the stories, the connections and conversions between all characters. It's give me the vibe of slice of life. One of the best Older Woman/Younger Man stories I've seen, that's for sure.
I don't really like the FL. She pretends to be nice but she is selfish and thinks only about herself. Her character is pretty annoying. But the story is very interesting and I'm curious.
This drama feels so outdated, like something that I've seen in dramas 15 years ago. The obsession of the second leads, lingering feelings for exes, abusive relationships, slapping, maltreating... and the writing of the leads is so bad! Most of the time, the ML is a a jerk and the FL is stupid, naive and pathetic. But somehow I can't stop watching it. I love it and hate it at the same time.
A beautiful and touching story. I don't think the fantasy aspect was strong and I don't think it was meant to be. Rather, it was supposed to be a story about human relationships and in this aspect, it was meaningful and hopeful. About the ending, I'm glad they didn't use the usual fantasy tropes but kept it as simple as possible. I'll probably watch again for OTP and STP but I'll skip a few scenes. And the OST is perfect!
