Thank you also for the awesome breakdance and Rubic's Cube references! Apparently he led quite a lonely existence…
You are welcome :) I keep thinking where I got it from, and I just cannot remember :( I think it was one of those subbed interviews on YouTube around the time Rurouni Kenshin came out ...

Thank you also for the awesome breakdance and Rubic's Cube references!
Apparently he led quite a lonely existence as he was still in school when his acting career started and he got "mobbed" by his classmates. So he kept himself to himself most of the time - maybe that is why he so good with the Rubic's Cube :)

He also has a leading role in Beck :)
Yes, me too! And I adore how he developed his acting skills - from Beck to Rurouni Kenshin - what a journey :)

You really hit the nail on the head!!! I must admit - I am one of them :) (Including buying Asian looking clothes, accessories etc from Asian shops, eBay and such sources.) And the bow - I cannot NOT bow any more!!!

By the way did you ever watch "My Neigbour Totoro"? It is an anime movie but it shows rural Japan and the way of life just so well. Another one is "Wolf Children Ame & Yuki" - Ookami no Kodomo Ame to Yuki (also an anime movie).

Currently I am watching a film called Kakure Karakuri (Hidden Trick), by the same director who directed The Last Quarter (Kagen No Tsuki) and Soundtrack (starring Sugizo). The Last Quarter is one of my all time favourite films, and I got interested in the director. Sugizo is one of my all time favourite musicians (guitarist) and he stars in Soundtrack and the film I am watching now.
(Don't get me talking, otherwise I won't stop - LOL)

Yes, I am crazy about everything Japanese... There are some Chinese movies, too, but I am not too much into Korean dramas and movies, somehow ... And you?

It is its own story, can be watched by anyone who has never heard of Rurouni Kenshin before, and yet many lines are taken directly and literally from the manga and / or anime. Masterpiece!!! Love it!!!!
