well-said!! i so agree with you! i tried watching this last year when it came out and dropped after ep 10.. and a few days ago I started watching ep 1 again and am dropping at ep 8. I am such a huge Xu Kai fan but even he cannot save this drama! but why the high rating? coz it's 8.1, thus I thought i can give it a try again..but can't.. super boring show..fell asleep so many times! I have actually watched Moonlit Reunion and I enjoyed it thoroughly and binged on it and Xu Kai was great in that.. but I just can't with this! 😢💔 sorry!

i watched it for the ML too...I really like him in the Nokdu drama and Angel something...when i saw he was the lead here.. I was excited.. never looked back! but I personally feel eve though he was fantastic here, main actress, Queen Mantis herself carried the whole show. I really enjoyed this drama! and of coz, female detective was damn annoying.. but her redemption arc was great! great work to all!

my take: 1.. she killed park because he was waiting and baiting her to come..maybe he was getting close to the game and impulse killing..she did said it was not a great killing to Mother Mantis..
2. Mother Mantis killed bespectacled guy..she ran him over with the stolen car that's why she escaped coz bespectacled guy was gonna spill the beans on her relation with her son

hi. yes a trans.. but nothing transphobic about it.. the killer was portrayed as a killer only because of childhood trauma..nothing about transition process or not being able to adapt to life blah blah blah.. the story addressed the killer's trauma as a child caused by adults.. I thought it was gently handled.. and the killer's acting was as flawless as his/her transition of life. so hope u enjoy the drama as much as I did.
