I think the drama should be seen as a parody, every cliché and trope has been used since the first episode. I think that's how it was intended. If you start the show too seriously, you won't enjoy it.

I know what you mean, the last few episodes feel "cheap." And normally I'd complain about the use of those simple and annoying tropes. But from the very beginning, every cliché and trope has been used. It's felt like a parody since episode one. And that's how you should watch it to fully appreciate the drama.

You know, I'm a part-time Sherlock 🕵♂️. But seriously, yeah, the first few episodes were actually pretty good, but everything after that..., "jiejie" still gives me a headache. By the way, the other two series weren't great either, although Lip was the better one.
