Well just take any historical drama and you will see that. Almost every historical Chinese drama with fantasy has action in all 3 realms. They always start in heaven realm almost always, then they go to mortal realm to cultivate or whatever and then suddenly they are in the demon realm. Well not all busy still there is always some sort of conflict between heaven and demons realms and then in the middle is mortal realm.

Really? People want SML in IS to be the ML? No no, for me no. I don’t
even see them as a pair if they were to be one while with Lord Yingyuan/Tangzhou she is a match made in heaven I’d say.

Like I said I don’t find it bad and if you don’t feel comfortable watching it why watch it then, I mean I would drop watching something that annoys me. There are plenty of dramas😅To be honest body swapping is not my thing in dramas. It’s a turn off for me in most dramas, but i am giving it a chance in this one because I especially like the theme of the drama and the main couple. So far the body swap is not annoying like in some dramas. Well but that’s just me

Well I don’t know I wouldn’t call it robotic. He kind of showed different emotions throughout the drama. Let’s not forget it was his first drama and I would say it wasn’t that bad, I’d say it showed he has some potential for a start. There are really many cdramas out there that has worse main actors acting, I don’t know. Some that has a character of stone face but some really do something with that stone face with micro expressions and unfortunately some just stay stone faced throughout whole drama with no emotions. That is what I call bad acting. And personally I don’t think Dylan is falling to that category. But to each their own, everyone thinks differently.

I mean I also haven’t seen all of his works to say completely that he is very good or very bad. But that is what I want to say that it all depends on a project an actor is playing, what kind of pairing he gets( I think the chemistry between the actors is very important). It is also very important how the character resonates with you. Like you said in Rational life it was not a character you cared for therefore you might not put all the attention on how good or bad he was. All I am saying others are too fast to judge without even trying to watch or have a prejudice against him just because of a few projects that maybe weren’t the best. Maybe this will not be the best example I am going to give since the actor I am going to mention is Korean but I just want to mention him. Personally I really love the acting of Lee Soo Hyuk, but to be honest I feel like he is yet to get the role he can show his true potential. I’d say dark roles are his forte and him playing hwi was probably the best he played. However I think he can do so much more with the potential he has, I can see him in a leading role but somehow the projects he does is not always the best. Though some are really good so i am not denying his talent. Those roles that didn’t work out that well doesn’t really define what he can ho. Well it’s just my opinion and I mean everyone has a right to have theirs so I don’t really want to offend or contradict. Just saying let’s give more chance to some actors first. Sorry for the long text 😅

I think I’ll be reading the novel as well between the airing of the eps cause it’s so good.

Well I haven’t watched the dragon one but saw some clips and yeah maybe it wasn’t the best acting of him. You know sometimes some roles just don’t click with the actor and also the pairing of the actors mean a lot as well, but I am one of the persons to think that one project or few that went wrong doesn’t define the actor. You know there is always place for improvement. And yeah I agree with you his chemistry with Esther here is amazing, I mean they look visually pleasant together, kind of complementing each other.

Haha, Love it. Yeah I feel you. The SML seems handsome and nice but I also feel for the devil 🤣 I just have a thing for some bad boys. Good boys are ok as well, depending on the plot of the drama. But this is really attractive plot right here in this drama. And that is why I worry about him losing that hellfire as like you said he is number 1 😮‍💨hope it will turn out well here.

Why he had to kill her though? And on the drama trailers it shows he will lose his hellfire because he falls for her, is that something like from the novel? Is the novel worth reading? I feel like he is going to be the villain here. It looks like he did love her but I doubt she would be happy if she knew what he is doing now for ‘her’. Cause it seemed she was a good person fighting the evil. People just twist everything on their own and ruins themselves which is not worth it in the long run .

Can’t agree more with you and I haven’t read the novel. The voice fits overall picture of the drama see no problem with it. And Dylan’s acting is real good here, also don’t understand the complaining about it. The vibe he gives off with his micro expressions I am loving it.

You mean Immortal Samsara? I don’t see any similarities between them to be honest. Like they have different love type. Well I don’t get the same vibes. I actually wanted to watch samsara but I am postponing it at the moment. Cause I am loving this more at the moment. Don’t want to say IS is bad, it’s good also, and I will watch because the main cp is also very well matched plus I love yang zi’s acting. So will have to check it out later on.

I don’t know about anyone else but I freaking love every second of it. I mean I have been waiting for this drama to come out for so long I am definitely not disappointed. I love the idea of devil loving a kind and pure fairy, that was the main attractive point for me. Everyone is hating Esther’s voice here which I don’t get it it’s not that bad, it’s alright and it suits her character. I mean I saw her act in Find yourself and there yeah she seemed quite annoying as a character and the voice because her character there was very immature and not very logical. But here I can see her perfectly fine she is not annoying she pure and kind in a good way, you can see from the trailers that she will have development. And Dylan Wang I like him, he is really handsome in this and he is definitely nailing the micro expressions. So why would anyone say he is bad at acting. Like I can name plenty of other actors that are nowhere near Dylan’s acting level. Even his debut drama Meteor garden was alright for a first timer in acting. Anyway I am really loving the is at the moment, it even overshadowed my wish to watch Immortal Samsara at the moment because I am that into it. Hope this will have a happy ending between the main couple. Who read the novel what kind of love they have in the novel? Is he like really bad with her there or how is it? Just wondering :)

Oh I totally agree with you and me too wouldn’t have expected them to be lovey dovey especially taking into account their strong personalities. I mean they kind of showing their feelings subtly so I wasn’t expecting a kiss nor I needed it. It’s just like many of comments mentioned the scene where they talk it out could have been a little bit more emotional, dramatic or something cause it was abit week for me. Though I totally loved the whole drama in general and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Well it’s only natural that he forgot, human beings shouldn’t know about the existence of grim reapers. I think they wrapped up everything pretty well except for the relationship GR and PJG. I mean it’s was also kind of ok, but I wished they would still be somehow together at the end. Well maybe that is what is going to happen since he seemed to be offering himself as a new member at the end. I mean when he said he did it out of his pride somehow I didn’t believe him 100 %. I am talking about saving her. She definitely has feelings for him since she still wears the eyeshadow. I think he also does have feeling for her since he had all that pain all this while. I mean pain means he cared that is why it’s painful. Well I don’t know.
