as of episode 6 how many deaths have we had so far? that are related to the puzzle killer? 3? 4? then how does the construction worker death come into play? struggling to find the correlation
choi san is my #1 pick so far for culprit - he committed the murder 10 years ago for whatever reason, has been watching her, joins police force fairly recently (the fact that he's a rookie in his 40s/50s is enough to raise suspicion), killings continue, etc. i've noticed that he's sometimes the voice of doubt towards fl - he's often questioning or prodding at her to figure out her train of thought.
psychiatrist is suspicious but it seems unlikely as she would be the killer as she would have had to been super young when the first killing happened (not sure how old she is)

the 16 episode dramas used to have a good amount of filler and unnecessary bits like additional storylines and second/third couples. recent dramas (especially mystery ones) have more or less doubled down on anything that's not crucial to tell a more concise and engaging story - sometimes at the risk of losing a chunk of character development or backstory.
if you watch this drama you'll notice that things are quite fast-paced, and every scene has meaning. so basically there's an emphasis on quality over quantity in dramas as of late.
